Awesome Setu, some very good points put in there indeed.
I'll definetly be keeping those advices and questions stuck in my head. Would be a good way to remind myself when I race on go-karting or doing driving experiences in Knockhill.
Lap 6 onwards, I slowed down for pace, until lap 16, I start to push and push. When I saw you gaining, I was hoping to hold you, as I knew automatically you had the better setup. Didn't last long as I made a mistake on T1, and you had an open road and took the lead.
By the time we reached lap 20. We pitted. With you 14 seconds ahead, I managed to shed time off from the pits, and carried on racing.
When the tyres fully cooled down, I was on a rampage, trying to use my backmarkers as an advantage from laps 25-30 to set 101s, and then 100s
Couldn't believe the two backmarkers holding you up took 5 seconds off on the last lap, with huge momentum, overtook and lead to the finish.
Awesome race, one of the best comebacks I have driven *even though backmarkers played into my hands for the win*
This wasn't last minute. This change occured a few hours ago. If you guys practiced for no pitstops, then pits wont be a problem, as you wont need tyre changes .
My apologies, I should have stopped commentating on that comment. I was referring to myself as a way of saying "STFU" (My Dad says that to me as a laugh)
No one insulted or swore on that server as I recall.
I'll admit its a bit unexpected, I was trying to liven up the events. Darkone did it on the Redline server unexpectingly and it was a huge sucess. Thought I'd give it a try myself, and you were the only that complained. I didn't see anyone else. Especially for those that spectated.
Anyway, I'll "STFU" (which I admit, chatting too much is a flaw for myself) and race, and compliment, until asked which brings into a conversaion.
I'm with you there. If someone asked me politely to stop commentating, then I would have done that. But if someone literally said it differently, in a harsh or rude manner, then clearly things are going to get worse before they get better.
I understand that LFS members want to race and dominate, and improve their skills of driving. But on other cases for drivers not racing, its an opportunity to make friends and conversations until they are ready for the next race. And these conversations can last an age.
How do you guys feel about it? Think we should quack our traps off? Or zip them up and discuss them on forums/pm/msn/e-mail etc.
EDIT:I'm not referring to the arguing of drivers having incidents, more on the friendly general banter. I'm not bothered about the chatting at all, just a bit curious.
Had Lotesdelere blaming me for holding him up on the pitlane exit of FZR/XRR/FXR - Aston National. He claimed I was deliberatly holding him up *was driving FXR, he was FZR, and was right behind me* considering he had the faster car with more straight line speed than me, he could have easily overtook me, but, not after he spun he had a right go at me.
Good example of members blaming others for their own mistakes .
And you took my cheek pretty well, now you have become upset, because folk are having a go at you and you haven't learned when to stop posting.
And because of the hole you have put yourself in, it may consider others not to apply for MG if that attitude literally evolves around the MG forum itself.
