What codec are us using to render that aspect ratio? Also, you should contact me next time you do something related to IGTC because I have premade water marks, logos, and somethings I can't release publically at this time, that might be of intrest to you.
Decent video overall. I find that you sometimes use a little to much FOV for my taste, but it looks like you used a little less this time. Just work on the focus a bit and you'll be doing really good.
We've got 3 Mogulus sites up and running, and I've never seen a file take so long to be confirmed for on-demand. You might want to check the placement of the commentary file, and make sure it's correct.
That's the big problem I see. Most racing videos have a point to them, rather it be related to a team, event, league, hotlap, etc. Drift videos on the other hand typically lack direction, and after a while it's like watching two people you've never heard of, twin over, and over, and over again. About the only drift videos I even care for anymore are the ones related to drift events, or if Lynce made it.
Back to the point at hand... This video isn't really bad or anything, it's just a bit repetitive. Overall it's a fairly decent video, it could just use some more direction.
I personally don't like seeing the field bunched as much as this test race. Decrease speed, bunch the field, and slowly accelerate to the line. There is no sense in slowing down multiple times, and you should never go below 40 to 45 MPH. All in all, it wasn't that bad though. It's not like we're in GTRs...
I've been thinking about getting a little more into effecting the images in videos. I really wish Vegas had a dynamic text editor, but it just doesn't do what I want.
You guys have any suggestions for applications or plug-ins that might help this process?
I don't think the footage fit the song very well because of the tempo difference, but the lyrics made up for that. The camera angles on the other hand are just simply HAWT!
Main reason I did this is because the video isn't done, and I really wanted to have it out as close to 2008 as possible. It's going a be a little while, trust me, but at least the thread will have been on time. :P
