Quote from only.one.RydeR :On another note, were you tired afterwards?

As an endurance racer, I'm not allowed to admit that.

Maybe a little. ;p

This isn't an official video release, but I used my old formatting.

I was messing around the other day and decided to tweak an XRR to be faster than the BF1 world record on AS3R. It's very similar to the 2700's engine settings. Also, a sneak peek at a future video's song.

BF1 Wannabe

Hi-Res D/L version (requires DivX/Xvid plugins): N/A

Streaming (Hi-Res): BF1 Wannabe

Streaming (Hi-Res): BF1 Wannabe: The Lap - Pure onboard.

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :Yann beat me to creating the thread here. (Well done ) Please see below for how to make your protest. Do what Yann has done, you won't go far wrong)

Your Name: 405 Y.Laprevotte

Your LFS Username: GreyBull [CHA]

Protest Against: (LFS Username) : BigTime

Type of Protest - Unfair Overtake or whatever) : unfair overtake

Description - Your opinion of what happened) : After a little contact on the entry of turn 3, Nolan decided to come across, and then hit me. His nose was on the left-back side of my car, so I logically span when he decided to go full throttle to lose the less time possible on the incident.

Which Event / Session: (Quali or Race 1/2/3) : Race 3, 3rd lap, 4:30 on the replay.

Attached Evidence - Attach your pictures, or other evidence : Replay - I guess you got it

First and foremost, I was never upset with the contact before the our incident. Even though I was driven off the track, I was comfortable in the position we were in since I was planning on pushing Laprevotte... I knew when this incident happened that it would look like retaliation, but I can honestly say this was a mistake. The reason I was coming up the track is because I expected Laprevotte to go to the racing line, which was about a car width to the right.... I expected the car to be recoverable, but the fact is I should have lifted a bit.

I personally think lag really aided the spin, because it felt like our fenders locked. As I said, I never expected that to be unrecoverable. Regardless of which, I'm not going to overly defend this accident. I'll admit that I should have lifted, but the reason for the initial contact was a racing incident, and a misunderstanding of our racing lines.

Thanks, but I doubt I'll be able to make this weekend's race. I'm heading up to Bristol today for the NHRA Drag Racing Series, so you guys have fun.

P.S. I thought the race was today, and was planning on running the race in the hotel room... If only it was today. :P

Quote from hadesko :Well, i wanted to keep kinda raw colors as LFS has, thanks anyway.

You did add a lighting effect to the video right? Looks quite bright for raw LFS.

If that's the case you should just get a friend to do a drag race with you. See how it goes, you might like it...

Quote from brt900 :i have no ideas on a good style i just want a lfs video that i can edit for practise

Just go download one... It's pretty simple, just scan through the movie section threads. However, you better not post your edits as your own works!

Seriously though, why not just work on improving your own style. If your working on editing, go download a video that's not LFS related. It's much more realistic to work on those, if of course your practicing for real life (stuff that makes money) applications.
