Well...maybe I have to divert about once every 10 trips or so..but we have LOTS of alternatives that we can use. Worse case recently was when the M40 was closed both ways for a whole day...I still managed to get all my trips done without too much delay, even though every alternative was a lot busier owing to no motorway for anybody.

In 1985 I moved to France with my (then) French wife...all I knew was basic 'schoolboy' french.
Within three days I had a job, digging holes in the road....and started to learn french properly.
Once I had a good level of the language I took my HGV test and got a better job.
We rented a house from one of my in-laws (at the going rate..I didnt want any favours!), and eventually saved enough to buy our own place.
During my ten years in France I never received ONE PENNY (or franc!) in benefits, and paid all my taxes and social contributions.
I embraced the French culture and traditions, and abided by their laws.
If I can do it, then I fully expect people coming to this country to do the same. Whats wrong with that?

Reading through these various threads, it seems that the majority are fed up with so-called "Political Correctness" no matter which side of the fence you happen to be on.
I agree with a lot of the human rights act, that is to say, the right to privacy, the right to freedom of speech, the right to work, the right to walk the streets in safety....
It does seem ironic that the BNP invokes the HRA when they actively seek to repeal it IF they ever got to power, but maybe they will replace it with something better.
I can imagine one thing cropping up though....

The only thing that I have to say is, if Nick Griffin will let the people of Oxford (and OTHER CITIES!) refer to Christmas as CHRISTMAS and not bloody "Winter Festival" then he gets my vote!
In Oxford we had two YES, TWO! 'Asian' members of the council suggesting that we dont refer to Christmas or have CHRISTIAN related decorations in the city, and the whole bloody council decreed that they would therefore be called Festive Decorations, and NOTHING depicting the CHRISTIAN attitude of Christmas would be allowed.
Next year I am personally going to object to any MUSLIM reference to Eid or Ramadam...and see how far I get (Not very, I expect!)

1) Of course there are a lot of ex-servicemen on the list...if a guy is willing to sign up to DIE for his country, it is the ultimate proof that he supports it.
2) A lot of you guys (no offence) are under 30, and have not had the opportunity to experience the degrdation of this country over the last 30 years. It might seem that I am saying "Oh, things were better in the old days"...they WERE! For one thing, we had REAL COPPERS in the 70's (Somebody earlier quoted Gene Hunt!!) that weren't frightened to nick some little toe-rag because they were scared of being accused of racial discrimination!
3) I have PERSONALLY witnessed a case where a DESERVING white British FAMILY was declined social housing (for which they had been waiting SEVEN YEARS) in favour of a SINGLE asylum seeker who had been in the country for less than three weeks becuase they were a "priority case"
4) A theory is that the list was leaked by members of Combat 18...because Nick Griffin dis-associated the BNP from Combat 18 because of their radical views.
5) The main reason BNP want to abolish the Human Rights act is to open the door to the return of Capital Punishment.
6) If Britain were not shackled by "European" law and regulations, things would suddenly become a lot easier for British workers...ie, we wouldnt have to fork out billions every year to a bunch of bureaucrats in Brussels!
I could rant on for ages.

Wow, wow, and once again WOW!!!! Just had a quick browse thorugh some C0D5 maps that I havent played yet, and found one with TANKS THAT YOU CAN DRIVE!!!!
Mega fun cruizing round a map encased in steel and letting them have it with some lovely HE
(drool!)
BIA HH had a great story, relly enjoyed it..got to the stage where I wanted to complete the level quick just to watch the cutscenes...more like a movie than a game!
CoD storylines are good too, but not quite as immersive as BIA, but CoD _just_ wins for me because of the multiplayer. (and TANX)

Had a few problems getting it running at first...was some leftovers from the beta that I had to hunt down and kill manually, but now is working 100%...brilliant gfx (Everything on max @ 1680*1024 4xAA) and runs smooth as a babys bum ...getting pwnt as usual online, but thats nothing new
