Quite often when I have had to do a re-install for a customer who has a license but no disk (quite usual here where windoze comes pre-installed!) I download the correct version (check sticky label for version..OEM..Basic..Pro..etc) and then install using his legitimate key...100% acceptance/activation/success rate so far... so... download away..its the LICENSE you pay for..not the disk!!

I saw this story in the local press the other week..and it made me giggle then. I didn't realise that the guy in question would become a world-wide fail!

Best reason to go and BUY Win 7 then..I have been running the beta/RC version for months now, and I will definitely be installing it on my entire system...I love it so much I want to have its babies!!

I only hope that M$ realises that lots of HOMES have multiple computers these days, and come out with a group license for home users...say up to 5 computers, the way they do for businesses. (I know its in vain, but I can always hope!)
