Hello,
I'm interested in fielding a team for the Blancpain Endurance series. I will be around to help build sets andsuch. Looking for 1-3 drivers, might have one already. I have experience with setting the RUF up from MoE, where our team did show some impressive early round pace despite set backs in the form of bad luck. Looking for a new driver roster that has aspirations to go for the team DWC. Car choice is up in the air. PM me please.

Best,
Ray

I'm considering buing some more advanced bicycle (Enduro, maybe slopestye/freeride one?) in the future if I manage to get some free cash to spend.

What about a downhill bike? Or maybe just make your own bike and built it for your purposes, look for good deals. Look used... full suspension frames, find a good deal on a fork.. have fun with it?

PS. nice Gopro mount, Bmxtwins Smile Thought the recorded video would be more shaky. Is it original Gopro exuipment?

I used a brake booster that came with the fork (like this: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/download/file.php?id=238317). I put the extension arm around it, like I would a mount and fed the bolt through the extension hole and through the hole on the brake booster. I stuck a normal gopro screw through and added a nut to the back. Then I added one more extension arm to put it forward more, and I cut this one so the camera could sit straight up. So basically 2 extension arms, 3 screws, and a brake booster. 100% home made idea, just using aftermarket extensions that I got cheap with an official gopro screw.

I think it rattled because of the waterproof casing touching the brake booster, maybe I can take it off, or put a rubber washer between the extension and the brake booster.

Anyone else here into mountain biking?

I got a new bike at Christmas time and have set off on a couple upgrades:
1) A set of SPD's, I used them in my BMX racing days and that was a pretty easy adjustment.

2) More recently a 2004(?) Manitou Minute 2:00 SPV Evolve fork. Looks pretty much unused. A lot nicer than the stock Suntour that came with it, but still trying to figure out the settings on it.

Came up with this video after some riding today and one older clip.

And I'm working on a way of creating a broadcast for you all. It shouldn't be too difficult so long as I can create decent overlays.

Morgan Trolle and I actually went into developing this idea but it was far too complex in terms of balancing performance. Maybe if this works we can.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :In light of this magnificent day, the 1st of April, 2015. I hope that Clarkson also supports other groups that he has insulted in the past. The pikeys at Pikes Peak or the Morris Marina fan club.

Hopefully he will also pay us back for the hours of poor entertainment and non-laughter that we were all forced to endure over the last 20 seasons of Top Gear.

Hue hue hue.

]Wow, Clarkson has finally seen the error of his ways!

Jeremy Clarkson joins Guardian ... or fossil fuel divestment

Selected quotes:

Quote :Following what he described as a “dark night of the soul”, Clarkson said he hoped to “regain the trust of the British public” by dedicating his time and financial resources to sustainable energy, road safety and forging mutual understanding and tolerance between people of different cultures and religions.

“But, in the end, this is bigger than Planet Clarkson. This is Planet Everybloodybody, including members of the traveller communities and our Burmese and Argentinian friends,” he winked.

Well done to him. Obviously I was too quick to rush to judgement, and I hope his popularity will bring light to an important issue! [url=http://www.topgear.com/uk/jeremy-clarkson/calists-05-1996][/url

So how exactly did racer X manage to make the jump from drugs in New Zealand to bike gangs, and then somehow to terrorism in the USA?

Man, this guy could persuade you that the invention of Velcro was responsible for the moon landing.

Quote from Some website :Police have shut down two sophisticated drug rings and seized methamphetamine worth up to $123 million during a series of busts across Auckland.

In two drug investigations, Operation Wand and Operation Sorrento, the police Organised and Financial Crime Agency (OFCANZ) worked with Customs to target two organised criminal groups.

Detective Inspector Bruce Good said the two operations shut down criminal groups that had gone to great lengths to avoid detection.

"This included new techniques for importation and production which we have not seen in New Zealand before."

In late March, detectives and customs investigators working on Operation Wand carried out search warrants across the Auckland region, seizing 83kg of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of up to $83 million.

"This included the discovery of $20 million worth of methamphetamine at a clan lab in Pakuranga," Mr Good said.

"To find 20 kilograms ready or being prepared for market at one clan lab shows the scale of the organised criminal operation we have infiltrated during Operation Wand.

In Operation Sorrento, police and customs seized an additional $40 million of methamphetamine while carrying out searches across Auckland.

Mr Good said police were not aware of any links between the organised criminal groups involved in each operation.

"The terminations of Operation Wand and Operation Sorrento illustrate that there are a number of players involved in the importation, production and supply of methamphetamine in the Auckland region."

Police commissioner Mike Bush said methamphetamine was a significant driver of crime that did enormous damage to communities.

"It ruins lives and destroys families and Police is determined to prevent the harm and victimisation it causes."

Nine people have been arrested and charged with drug offences as a result of both operations.

Seven of those charged are Chinese or Hong Kong nationals and two are New Zealand citizens.

Police Minister Michael Woodhouse and Customs Minister Nicky Wagner commended both agencies for the successful operations.

"Criminals need to know that drug activities will not be tolerated in our communities, and any profits or assets from these atrocious activities will be seized. The results of these operations go a long way in sending that message," Mr Woodhouse said.
