And it's impossible to learn a new corner? No, and certainly everyone could learn the new one. But is it fair to change the chicane now....?

This being said, I think IMOL has a point in what he is saying. Not only is it 1 WEEK before qualifying begins, but teams have been practicing for a few weeks to get everything right. Not sure if changing corner is the right call. I think the idea can work, but maybe save it for next year. Because most people have sets worked out already. IMOL nailed it in his description. He is a very experienced driver and clearly knows what's best. Though I do not feel the l33t drivers should dominate opinion because they are better than us, it does leave something to be said.
Personally I hate original corner and like the new one a lot, but I am voting no on principle because if you wanted to make this change you had weeks prior to do it.

IMO: best solution is to put back the apex poles and that way people can have something visual to aim for. Also, leave the braking markers as they are quite helpful.
Well since everyone is casting their opinion, I have no real bias to which is used.
Cons to using this:
1) It adds objects and creates a hazzard in that sense
2) dive bombing is easier, though the GT2 cars should have plenty of room to run off into if need be
3) the middle curbing is still unnatural and can cause sliding for 2 wide action
Pros:
1) Corner is safer for racing, less chance of a roll or tyres being sprayed about on exit
2) Better for multiclass even with chance of dive bomb imo
3) Braking point is the same and shouldnt take much set adaptation
4) It helps the FZR/FXR gain a bit of time on the XRR

Reason : fixed a typo, thanks intre :)
Why don't you go to Florida or Arizona? Or southern California...
San Francisco, personally I wouldn't go there for a vacation. That being said rumor has it you are gay. And San Fran is the gay capital of the world. So you will find lots of gay bars. (this is not meant as a slur). Most cars don't cost too much to rent here. I think zip car is possible, not sure about foreigners. Look into Enterprise, or such companies. I'm from the opposite side of the country. But hell
Racist. No one likes you welsh people anyways. You all have yellow teeth, smell like the moth balls you store your fur coats with, and you still haven't discovered the use of a razer or soap in a shower.
Ok so my first thoughts. Forcefeedback is pretty amazing but lacks the transitional feel when understeer starts to happen (ie lightening the wheel). But pretty good imo. Hard to judge turn in points, but the cars take predictable behaviors unlike iRacing.
Cockpit views I've tried are very good comparable with iRacing's, unlike LFS where I cannot drive in cockpit.
Not a fan of the shifting motions, dont like how the driver reaches for the knob before I even shift. It's a bit distracting. The digital rev limiter is too low on the screen to use IMO and very hard to read. Nothing major.
Curb physics are shit, and I dont like the autoslow down, would rather be able to drive full speed on grass for fun if I feel like it.
Braking is slightly too sensitive with lock ups. I'm on the CSR Elite load cell pedals, barely push half force and I get uber lock ups. Also the sim lacks a feeling of tire flex IMO.
Still feels better than iRacing and rFactor and I'm sure that AC guys are still fine tuning. Slightly over-arcadish in some of its aspects. But in general not an arcade game at all. Cant wait to see how servers allow for hardcore modes.
I wouldn't recommend it atm because no multiplayer, but once MP is out I would 100% recommend it even with the things I don't like. Can't wait!
Installing. Will post honest feedback, considering I've held out on buying it because I don't care much about it. But if it's good I'll be the first (or 9999999999999th) person to elaborate..
Tracker now accepts databases but due to a problem with using wampserver for the databases due to tricky port stuff we had to try using an SSH Tunnel to use my database servers (which is quite complicated).
Havent figured that bit out yet, but we have gotten the user to connect. Now just to figure out if the SSH Tunnel lets the tracker local app send data to my database servers....
Worst case scenario is we run the tracker locally with wamp server and export the database and upload it to the online version every half hour or so. It wont be a live tracker, but it will be a live-ish tracker and better than what we had....
If anyone has experience using SSH tunnels for MySQL let me know.
