I got it as well, the link simply directs you to a "leaving fb" page in which you must click on continue if you are really stupid. Looking at it using seo browser (removes all JS/images, etc.) it seems to link to another page which is a copy of the LFS site.
The best bit about the V8SC is that staff member Ian Berwick confirmed he had accidentally increased the rev limiter to 7700 instead of 7500, because he was testing stuff back in November... So much for the official V8 online series if they can't even meet basic technical specifications!

Sorry but fair use does not apply to the UK. Maybe you should take some reading material down to that bridge of yours
I just tested it on Vista in windowed mode, and after I actually got the sound to work by putting sound lag up to 0.24, I drove about then watched the replay - clicked off LFS and I still had the sound!
Some epic stuff in the Porsches, everyone on slicks and it starts to rain on/off, unfortunately Rory Butcher lost the lead by spinning at the chicane BTCC race 3 on next.
It's hardly violent conduct, you can see in this slow-mo gif, the kinetic energy in the knee seemed to increase when it transfered to the Barca player.
Are you saying that John Terry can bend the laws of physics? There's a reason why you are on my ignore list...
The V8SC has had its fuel increased by 150% from what I can see running at Oulton, we'll need a fuel stop in most if not all of the races which will be interesting, especially when you add in OTM tyre wear
Going to do a Caddy race, let's see how this goes...
Here's a spoiler for the rest of the WTCC season: Chevy 1-2-3
There's a happy medium for spoilers, thank god this isn't the iRacing forum where people post racing topics in general discussion and have spoliers in thread titles. I could understand if it was the day after but it's 3 days later so at that point you venture onto the internet at your own peril if you don't want things spoilt...
You need a super license to drive an F1 car period, unless you get special dispensation from the FiA. For example, Kimi did not have a super license when he was moving over to F1, and he had nothing that came close, but he was given one, as long as all drivers agreed. Richard Hammond was not given a super license, but was still allowed to drive the 2005 Renault because it was on a closed track, where he was the only one that was going to be out on it at any given time. As soon as you add other cars to the mix, you have to have a super license, because you have to have the permission of the other drives, or you have to of proved yourself in a lower series to qualify for an super license. This is all on the FiA website.
Can you point me to where it says this on the FIA/F1 website?
Because I can see no stipulation in the sporting regulations that drivers of F1 cars require an FIA Super Licence, except in sessions at Grand Prix weekends (an Int. A licence is required for the young driver test). Kimi received one because he comfortably won Formula Renault UK in 2000 and completed the required distance in an F1 car.
You only need a superlicense to drive in F1. An International B license will enable you to drive in GP3/ GP2 / Porsche / other support races. International B is the same license spec. as WTCC. However, one cannot simply apply and pay for a superlicense like another license, you are invited to have one - so I guess if you are involved in Formula 1 enough you can get one.
GP2 requires an Int. A licence, and actually you can apply and pay for a super licence, just that you have to go to the FIA through your ASN and satisfy the requirements in Appendix L. To get a super licence she'll probably have to satisfy 5.1.2 f. and do some testing for a team - she's basically a midpack FRenault driver who hasn't moved forward in DTM so I'm not sure what the point would be apart from the publicity.
Yes, but do you need a Superlicense to drive in F1 Friday practice?
There are no more stone-set requirements to request a Superlicense? Weird, I'm pretty sure there used to be in the past, at least.
Yann look at MT89's channel, Bourdais had his crash so they waited and called the caution when the leader was at the pits at the end of lap 20, people pitted as they were open and the restart happened at the beginning of lap 23 - pretty quick I'd say compared to if they closed the pits and had to do an extra lap under SC.
