Renault are not going out to win , not at all , this is one race that the mission objective is simply to finish in the top 8 , that will be like a win to them. Despite what others say , despite what others think , that is the aim.
Just the top , and , I would really hope/think they can do it , but would also like to see some special midfield and backmarker results as well , maybe Toyota can repeat Japan and do quite well on the Qualy and finish in points on the race , and of course Honda , Red Bull , all the usual ones I would like to see have a well rounded-out season , most deserve it

at times you have to yield full stop.
When genuine incidents / accidents occur in LFS , and naturally the yellow flag goes up , " half speed " and " no overtaking " go straight out the window , everyone keeps racing , and its not often , but it does happen , that folk who are actually pretty fast will turn the corner to find a stationary or slow moving car on track , and cause a further incident trying to avoid , then blame the car that had the incident ! even when they came speeding round during a yellow.
but I do think most of them are not sure of all the rules of real racing , like has been mentioned in this topic most posts. I do also think however , that total mofo's can be found online as well , and thats unfortunate.

Anyone get up early in Europe to watch the thing ?
It was a pretty clean race indeed , enjoyable at parts , but so much trouble with tyre choices for the teams it was unbelievable.
Heres the facts ...
M.Shumacher took 1st place inside the last 15-20 laps after really bad tyre compound decisions by Renault for F.Alonso's R26.

This now ties Ferrari and Renault's top guys with both on 116 points , Micheal going top because it China now makes that his 7th win , with Alonso still on 6.
I thought Fisi did a really good job today , and glad he got a podium , seemed like he was doing one of the hardest jobs at the start trying and just before the last 1/4 of the race , trying to keep Shumi behind him , with Alonso's sluggish car ahead.
Felipe Massa retired near the end after a tag by David Coulthard , which loosened his front left and so he couldnt drive on.
Raikonnen and both Toyota's opted not to continue at various points in the race while stopped in the pits , and T.Montiero lost it on one of the looping wide turns , and stalled it , unable to restart.
EDIT : Robert Kubica had a real bad spell which involved 2 pit stops in as many laps , both for tyre changes. After getting up to 5th place or so from near the back , the track appeared to be drying and BMW took the chance of placing the car onto slicks quite with the track still semi-wet , earlier than all other teams. Barely out of the pit lane and the Pole ( nationality , not race position
) had no grip , edging slowly round the track , and spinning out twice or three times , including 2 potential race-ending slides. At the end of that outlap , he was straight back in , changed tyres again , I'd imagine obviously back onto wets , and went back out much much further back in the grid , losing all chance of points let alone a podium.
Renault still on top by 1 point in the Constructors and with the driver standings the last two races - Japan and Brazil - are gonna be ... interesting.

actually you never do see the crumbs , what Tristan does in relation to " putting the crumbs in " , as he admits , lasts under a second , and he has already digested a large portion of said cake. If he was putting crumbs in with his mouth only just being filled , then that could definately be suspicious , but he has already consumed at least 50% of the jaffa's before he even puts his hand up.
What competition are you watching ?? of course size makes a massive difference in this sport.
So your saying a full jaffa cake crumpled into crumbs is the same as ( in Tristans case ) a minute couple of crumbs that takes under a second for him to empty from his palm into his mouth. His hand goes up and then straight back down.
The crumbs that frequented this area , Tristan ( thankfully ) did not gather up to be consumed , the ones on the desk yes , but lap no. And considering he had already attempted a 1st trial with 5 JCs , there is absolutely no proof that the crumbs did not originate from the first attempt , and again like said in my above paragraph , in neither attempt is there noticably large fragments of Jaffa , enough to be considered for disqualification. I think its crazy to think 5 or 6 jaffa's can be eaten at once without spilling crumbs. and I'll refer you to rule 4 to note that the mouth doesnt have to be closed , and so hardly noticable crumbs are an everyday part of this sport.
I am still quite unsure what you mean by all of that ( very long ) sentance , but I have not actually said anywhere I will be competing at all , and so i'm definately able to judge fairly.
But I fully advise we should allow TNIT to decide.

Also , the crumbs that accumulate during Tristans JCC attempt , as shown in still 4:00 , are clearly noted as extremely small , literally atoms of Jaffa Cake substance , and thus it has to be taken into consideration when attempting the JCC twice in a row , that the beforementioned cake crumbs can be found on the desk , or in tristans later case ... in his lap ( nice going buddy
).
To round off , as shown again in evidence-still 4:01 of the footage , no FOB goes within even a few cm of the competitors mouth. The crumbs are placed in with a sharp flick of the wrist aimed into the mouth.

I think alot of testing would have to be completed by the competitor to get ( what must be the WR) of 8 standard , u.k-sized Jaffa's into their mouth at once , and complete the challenge by scoffing them.
You would have to take your mouth right to the edge of its ability and probably even make one or two setup changes ( like dislocate your jaw ).
For sure ALOT of mental strength , ability and capacity has to be completly missing , in order to attempt it in the first place. This is really " a person with a massive mouth " 's sport.
