This is why I think RallyX suits the B and J server to a T as most of the Time B and J is for a quick fix short races of 5 laps or so and when the server is Populated it can provide the most fun online racing that can be found.

One of the main reasons this works is due to the short races as if you got wrecked you waited for the next restart No problem, but if the races are made longer people then leave or you get new drivers joining and see the race is on lap 10 in a 25 lap race and move on elsewhere.

If CTRA works on distance and it creates to much work to recode I can see the problem Becky, but is it possible you can set a MAX number of laps to say 16 laps which is what I believe you get on SS1 @ Aston Cadet in the Fox as the problem only seems to be with FE RallyX Green the other two rallyX tracks judging by distance would be around 6 Laps and I think we could live with that, PS this paragraph could be complete Bull$&it as I am presuming quite a lot here

Also if this was ongoing it may generate enough interest to keep the server Populated.

I believe most of the original crew that frequented the B and J have left it only to concentrate on the other licences, but now every time I look now at B and J in the hope of getting a quick fix there's no one In there.

It can produce some of the best racing if you can get 8 - 10 racers in there.

I would like RallyX to be added to the B and J server as it uses the same cars and the racing is simular to the AutoX tracks with minimal contact allowed It could also generate more interest in the server.

Arrow you need to bump the Result #'s down one as Team name holds top spot

Only because the rest of the team are too sissy to drive it

From B and J to Bott Pwner as If

Get them all on the CTRA B and J server, you have a range of cars including LX's the Combo's are fun and the racing is generally close and fair with no worries about the odd bump here or there, also you have the benefit of the licence system with points given freely to the new racers and get decisively harder the higher up the ladder you go.

It's an ideal learning ground to learn car control as before the CTRA started up I had never driven any of the rear wheel drive cars or LX's and now I am competent enough to take what I have learnt in these cars into league races and all this was done in 6 weeks

If you don't use this server the idea could be copied over into your own server.

I believe if Arrow is to Follow A1GP format it will be under the British Flag

Why not use LFS Tracker upto 24 hrs before the race to choose the respective drivers from each country for each round with the second fastest driver from each country as the reserve.

Also you could have a rule that a driver can only race in one round to give other competitors a chance of taking part, otherwise it may just turn out to be a championship for hotlappers only.

The chosen driver would also have to submit a replay of their fastest lap so cheating would not be a problem.

Just a couple of ideas.

If any of you watch the replay infact both members of [KR] rejoined the server and this was 30 minutes after the argument took place with the admin.

I do agree with Richard above as the BOTT Website itself seems to be under used at the present time - The Website should be our first port of call for Bott Issues not the LFS Forum.
