How make lots of gold, boost smithing and enchanting skill, thus level up all in one tip
I got my smithing up to level 70 just by buying iron and leather and making iron daggers and leather braces, but if you enchant the daggers you can sell for a big profit!
The trick is to enchant a weapon with soul trap for 1 second on hit, which you will use when the enemy is low on health and then the final hit that kills him will fill a soul gem to use for enchanting these daggers.
The highest sell price I can get is with the drain 18 stamina enchant, makes the dagger worth 650-700! If you had high speech that is
Just got my 3rd assassin hit on me, clearly someone doesn't like me....
Well 2 Dark brotherhood hits, and one of 3 burly dudes. Found the hit contract on their bodies
Oh that head mage, makes a good punching bag to level your combat skills if needed, he can't die, and he's always alone in his room. So no witnesses, and he forgets after he resurrects
If you could shoot bows and slash from horseback it would change things greatly! Especially if we had spears/lancers, and I find it strange you can't, plus animals seem to stand there if your on horseback until you dismount - then all hell breaks loose
I guess I'm not suprised, she's always dropping hints and hiting on me when I'm around....
There is also a girl that owns a store in Winterhelm, near the Mage college....
And what about that female that runs the weapons and armour shop in Whiterun? Free weapons and armour?
I found this town right at the mid top of the map, on the coastline, it has a port with ships etc. I think it's called Dawn something. There is a Towered temple above it on a cliff.
She works at the inn there, daughter of the owner - sings songs
also, don't piss people off. I've had hitman and hitmen take me on, when I least expect it, twice already... one for stealing stuff
The second time was when I was leaving a shop in Riverwood. 3 burly dudes jumped on me as I was leaving the general trading shop, took 3 goes to get out of that. Lucky I had a companion and summoned atronach to help out
I like it though, world is a more alive and interactive
I was admiring the scenery and all of a sudden one came up and 2 shotted me!
I killed a troll, and that was much easier for my magic skills compared to a bear, the speed difference I guess
and having a continous stream of fire and ice does help.
I'm finding it hard to decided which attributes to spend points on per level. I wish I could choose a little of everything
There is a lot of bland terrain and snow in the area where you start, but on the otherside of that big mountain, or maybe the seasons changed, there are some gorgeous visuals and towns
Ahh if only we had GT5 style photo mode with real camera functions...
The Fraps captured pics retain my gamma settings, the game capped ones don't...
I added all those tweaks, and boy it sure looks different now! I didn't notice any steam coming off the water before, now it does, and there are leaves falling off trees with the wind!
First time I have seeing rain in Skyrim too, it just went dark all of a sudden
yeah default is mouse - left click = right hand, right = left, but you can map it whatever you want
Doing a little bit of sight seeing with my "DLSR" - Skyrim can be pretty relaxing just wandering around, once the high res texture mod packs come out, even more so, the sound/music helps too
Well I can tell you load times are super fast on the PC version, especially reloading and stage changes.
very slow on the consoles...
And none the hiccups and stutters you get in Oblivion, plus draw distance is much better and almost on par with modded Oblivion but at a much higher framerate on my system
20fps is more common on my super modded Oblivion
Interface could use some work, not suited to the PC! Bring on the mods
I think it's much better than Oblivion and Fallout 3/NV
More screen caps - this is on Ultra - maxed everything, 8x FSAA, 16x AA. I get 40-61 fps, v-synced with fraps at 1080p
4ghz i7 930, 570GTX, 12GB of ram
Picked up the Spa DLC this week. After a few practise laps, I decided to have a 3 lap race against the new AI on max aggression setting. Everyone has Hard sports tyres, and I used a 450hp sorta GT4 spec 370z - really enjoyed that, the AI in spec 2.0 is much better, plus I guess being a new track means the AI have better pathfinding files
The AI all act differently. I ended up 5th, and even if I knew the track better, the lead AI was miles in front....
Had a nice battle with the RUF
There were a few times were he came up the inside and just about took me, but he backed off due to a corner coming up
As far as physics go, I find the cars behave much better with ABS off now. You don't get that sudden lurch like they used to from the weight transfer if your wheel is off centre
I'm finding it more predictable to drift with the control pad, compared to before, should feel much better with a wheel instead of the fishtailing we used to have
Also AI is better in terms behaviour but they are still not that fast
