im with virgin media too. i have the 20mbit package. And i cant host a server what you think you can!

LFS servers a limited to availible upload bandwidth on the host network. Eg a server in a datacentre has a net bandwidth of usually 100mbit (both upload and download), some may be more...

your bandwidth with your package is 256kbit/s if im not mistaken. with that you will be lucky to get a stable 11 slot server. i would think 8 MAX.

to host a league you really need to "splash the cash" and rent one.
im sure Franky500 has some good deals on at the moment so you should check it out! http://500servers.com

UKCT does not administrate the CTRA.
UKCT mearly hosts to servers/software.

The CTRA has a select panel of admins, in which the reports are made to

The standard of driving in the CRTA Silver Servers is high! These comments posted here are not accurate. What i mean is that you cant judge what the standard of the racing is on those servers by only being present on them for an hour or so....

i am always going into the servers at random times to have a look at this issue... most of the times i have been in there, the racing has been excellent, just what is required. But yes, there can be times where it isnt so good.. because of a select minority.

This thread is targeting the server in general and the overall comments made simply are not accurate enought to vustify the point.

1 more thing... if you do see "bad driving" in the server... fill out a report!

My point here is that you cant make general comments on standard of driving in a server, if you are not present on there for a adiquate period of time.

i had those 3D userbars in mind when i was posting... would have been nice... but i personally think a Mobo upgrade is out of the question... at least for now anyway. But i might be wrong...

dont be fooled though... you wont get 2 every friday... on friday if you have used one.. it will ADD 1.. it wont just add 2 every week so you end up with alot :P

you have made such a wonderful sim. The sim itself is a result of your time and dedication, and therefore has made many people from accross the globe very happy! For me, LFS is a unique Simulator that boasts wonderful features including sound, graphics and the physics, not to mention the "game" engine as a whole.

I personally would like to take this time to thank for all your efforts and im sure many more fantastic supprises are just around the corner!
