I thought you had a Virgin Media cable connection? I have the 20mb "XL" package, and my connection is always stable.

People have bitched and moaned about this ISP, however from my PERSONAL point of view its a great ISP. Yes there is 1 big down side with the traffic shaping policy, however connectivity wise its fantastic. I have never had any issues with my connection in the 3 years ive been with them. Ive never had to ring them up because of service issues. Well... i say i havent rang them up, i did once... only when requesting the upgrade though .

I've thought about this too. Especially having used this in Counter-Strike: Source and Day Of Defeat: Source. Its a real handy little feature which i use alot. It would help making joining full servers fair as you are simply put into a connection queue and allowed to join when your at the front of said queue and connect as soon as a player disconnects.

The server i rent sits in a datacentre down in maidenhead, and i planned to create my own control panel mearly to change the configs for the fusion servers online, and who knows what else in the future.

I plan to end up with a similar thing to what franky uses, however my own branded software. I posted this before i decided to go back to learning php which i started (yet left) a few months back.

This thread was mainly to see if anyone had any open source versions of this that they where willing to share. After speaking to one of my Tutors at college, they seem to be egging me on to write my own.. so thats what im going to do.

Incorrect. The server welcome.txt states.. as said before that they intend to get S2 content in the server, however i very much doubt that they will make it happen because of the master server. Unless they are trying to make a master server "workaround".

In your network settings, have you made sure that your PC is set up for DHCP? That is if the router uses that and you havent manually assigned IP's...

Yep ive noticed it ages ago, but i thought it was normal and common knowledge... Seems not with this thread being made so late after the sound updates...

With me mostly driving the GTR's these days, mainly FXR iv'e seem to become somewhat used to it, however im still curious as to what it actually is.

Anyone tried playing with the sounds in game? (Shift+A) to see if any of those options change it. I have a suspision that it is the turbo, fully spooled while the car is in motion... however normal RL cars wouldnt do that.

Whats the point? you wont get more that what your monitors refresh rate is anyway. afaik the standard TFT is 60hz therefore you can only physically see 60fps anyways . you might as well had some AA and AF and make it look pretty and still get around 100fps, rather than it looking crap and having m3g4l0lz FPS.

EDIT : im sure jakg has said this hundreds of times to people thinking that 500fps is l33t y0.

This was implimented by Scawen so that admins can still join their servers if it is full to administrate it without having to wait for a player slot to become availible.
