Yeah that doesnt sound like a good idea to me bacause of the sepctators haveing the urge to chat in the game... and could distract drivers. What about having some kind of stream?
As the title of the thread suggests, I am looking for drivers who want to compete in the forth coming Masters Of Endurance league.
Personally i have taken part in the previous season of MOE, with team #17 - Zwarte Wind Racing. I decided to create a team, named R.T.Solvalou. This team will be driving GT2 Spec cars during the endurance races, with the most probable car being the FXR (GT2).
All Drivers who wish to participate with the team, are required to have a TeamSpeak Client, in which a server will be open for the race radio chat. This is to ensure that all drivers know exactly what is going on at an up to date basis, and be instructed when their stint will take place.
It is prefered that any driver that wishes to sign up to the team has either previous M.O.E League experience, or has participated in at least 1 season of LFS GT. However it is not 100% mandatory. Should you prove to be a good driver in a test session, then that should put you in good standing.
A number of offical test sessions will be planned as soon as i have an adiquate number of people interested, and the details will be posted here.
If you are interested and fit these requirements, then please do not hesitate into PM'ing me outlining your interest.
When signing up please use the following structure to the message:
Name: LFS Player Name: LFS Username: Previous MOE/ LFS GT experience (yes/no): If yes to the above, please give details:
Erm... Its a little odd that two people have the same problem. It most likely is an internet connection issue as you managed to be on the server for some time before being kicked / lagged out.
OR
Its a server issue and the datacenter is having trouble.
Does this happen on all servers? (rules out the latter).
------------
With regards to the person opening the thread.. then it seems that it is a connection issue for your internet
I think sam has a great idea there with the 2-3 min practise session... because the first race after a race end is always.. well.. lets say a mess, because people dont have the right set and feul ect..
I know that this can be done from the setup screen... but it gives drivers more time.
yeah i agree pretty good concept... just have a look at this...
I understood what you meant.. however correct english would be...
or even better.
The english language is very complicated like that. However listening to voice progams might not help all that much. It will give you an understanding on how we say things, but we tend to use different words than what we should if we are to speak standard english.
Example:
Is not standard english. But it means Yes.
Now i know that seems a little basic because the word "yeah" is common around the world and is generally accepted, however other words are not.
Now i have rambled on i better shut up before i bore everyone to death...
But what i dont understand is why quit playing LFS when you have an S2 license and the problem is in demo!!
Its like supporting a football team in the premier league and quit supporting them because a div 2 team lost.. or something like that... same principal. which doesnt make sense now does it? (thats the point im making)
cant really touch wood on this one buddy...HDD's WILL die at some point.. especially the larger drives (over 120gb or so) because on some file systems it has been known to corrupt data.
What about an app that tracks live race stats. Kinda like the timing chart that was availible within LFS Spectator? It could be a basic table, with updates every.. umm 10 secs? (trying to reduce traffic ). Some Insim things would be needed for that though right? Or could it be done VIA LFS world?
