Personally, I don't like to ram someone. But... If I'm fast some day, but every time when I'm on pb course a noob gets in the way, I'm not going to get off the throttle if it's already the fifth time this happends (especially if they just entered the server in the middle of the race).. Then I just take the corner as fast as I can with the risk of ramming him and myself out. But at that moment I'm willing to take that risk, yes.

If I'm talking about Nurburgring, or Hockenheimring, I call them like that, just like they are called in German... And I call Silverstone Silverstone, and not "Zilversteen". :/

Hmm.. I'm trying U22 for the first time now. One small thing;

Please don't translate the track names. For instance Aston North is now Aston Noord... in Dutch.

Today I was watching the Turkish GP (wasn't able to watch it before). And somewhere at the beginning there was a shot from Kubica driving out of a slow corner. Seen from the back. And it looked exactly the same as it looks when accelerating out of turn 1 at Blackwood with the BF1.

@ GT Touring; here it has absolutely no infuence on the FPS, and I know nobody who has had trouble.

You made new textures, but you use about the same title as my thread, you use about the same text (The " " version " " contains textures that are supposed to be close to real.), "the version" doesn't really fit there. And you can't even be bothered to write your own readme.txt.

Anyway, I tried them in the CMX Viewer, and the fact that you don't have a horizon, or skyline on the textures, makes it look rather matte, instead of shiny. And it's the contrast what makes the shiny feel. Not the brightness or anything. So I'll stick to my own. :P

Oh and in English, textures don't have a capital T, as in German. :P

Why not make a round top, like 99% of the helmets, and make a nice pattern on it or so? Always looks good. :P

Oh, and in my opinion, you should make the stripes on the sides wider, but that's just my silly opinion, it's your helmet.

I don't know if you like it, but I made this template a while ago. It's an Arai design. On the the banner on the visor isn't that great, but I'm sure that's not too difficult to make.

I don't see why people find the BF1 boring to drive. In fact, I think the car is so difficult, on any average server the difference between the top and the slower driver might be up to 7 seconds! So it's not really an easy car, and when you're on the limit, it feels awsome. The FOX feels boring, on the long straights.
New: Reflection textures V3 (two versions)

Hi there,

Here are my two latest updates of the reflection textures. Please read the readme.txt (in the zips) carefully! They both have textures of 512*512 (which is twice the original size).

The first version (reflecttex_darkonev3_1.zip) contains textures that are supposed to be close to real. So they have clouds on it and everything.
The second version (reflecttex_darkonev3_2.zip) contains textures that are supposed to look nice. Not too busy, the colors less real but nicer..

Both versions cover all tracks, so, on all tracks you will have higher res reflections. Oh, and the zip differ in size a bit, but the size of all the textures are the same.

Enjoy them!

BTW, I actually remade the original textures. Well, the same idea, real reflecting clouds and stuff. The original textures already have enough color I think, but, they don't have a dark edge. You see no horizon, that's, I think, the biggest thing that bugs me.

But it's not wrong if there are things on the reflection texture that aren't really there, but keep them small.

See the attachment for the two versions I last made. They're twice the size of the original textures (that is four times bigger).
The pics on the top are the textures to make it look real. And the once at the bottom are made too look nice.

Hehe, I agree, but that's impossible. The places are default. And there need to run another part of the track between that place and the grass, otherwise you can't finish the track.

If the grid was somewhere in the middle of the autocross it would be ideal, you could make the straights and T1 and last turn identical, but mirrored. But that's not the case.
