Not only STCC, they're for all leagues. Just not all choose to use them.

You'll be fine, those parts were made back when 250W PSUs were great. A weak PSU will probably just cause problems with crashing etc.

There's definately a lot of prejudice towards demo racers on this forum. Guilty until proven innocent and all that. You're basically worthless unless you're a demo user who can code some great app that everyone can use and contribute to the community, otherwise you're a waste of space. That's the way I see it on the forums, not sure about online though. There are some S2 users who still race on demo servers and don't have a problem with it. The few give the rest a bad name.

I've driven 70 laps in the LX6 around BL rev and I'm still 3 seconds from the WR. I just can't get the car to do what hannu does. The FZ5 feels like a heavier rwd and more power version FXO and the RA is just otu of control. I haven't driven much of these cars but they just don't appeal to me very much when you've got the cars with slicks and downforce to play with.

Sure there were 23 people racing? Usually it'll say race full and won't let more than 20 people on the track.

Not to mention how rude the spanish demo racers are and how much they crack the game. The only good thing are the latina chicas

I can't drive the LRF class at all. Brake and you go sideways, step on the gas, sideways, try to turn and you go straight. They're the most frustrating cars in LFS and I hate them.

Sure for normal use the 2600+ is enough but with LFS using a lot of cpu it's the one limiting frame rates, my dual core 3800+ is even holding me back in lfs with a full grid. Try some newer drivers you never know, if they're worse you can always revert. But the main thing is now atleast you can run AA/AF on LFS, I think it looks shocking without them and am so glad I can use them

You'd have actually paint the sky onto the parts you want 'chromed' so it looks like they're reflecting the sky (or anything else they'd be reflecting) There is no special chrome paint in LFS. Chrome is basically like a mirror and gets its effect from reflecting it's environment.

One of the best Aussie drivers uses a joystick because he keeps breaking wheels, so I'd say it's pretty damn good if you're comfortable with it.

I'm always pushing 110% and trying to get the most out of the car so I think I overdrive it a bit. This is why I suck at pikcup races because I climb up to a good position then crash out. I'm not very smooth and flowing so I punish tyres and really chuck the car about so I need a setup I can live with that others find undrivable, I suck with the inferno sets most of the time.

I'm best when chasing someone down or maintaining a lead if I'm confident with the combo and I've done a fair few miles with it, so I enjoy leagues much more as I can prepare before the race and get my consistency up. Oversteer is my enemy and I hate being gentle with the throttle.

The 7600GS is much more powerful then the 9600, I'm puzzled by your loss of fps normally. It's a newer generation so you can't really compare processing speed with any graphics cards, they're funny like that with their pipes and 256bit buses etc.

Your cpu is holding you back now, that's why you don't notice any fps drop. The card can easily handle the extra AA and AF since it's not the one maxxed out. I always use the latest drivers because they fix some problems usually, unless they bring problems then I use older drivers. Can't hurt to try the newer drivers and see how it goes.

ahh you're right the newer one is different. maybe it is just the angle or something that makes it look too wide.

Rendering is easy dude, especially with vray when there;'s so many good materials to be found for free. ALso good tute's on studio setups for scenes and diffferent lighting setups.

Nah the scene is correct, just the bulge is a little big and too long, it doesn't get that close to the headlight or door and towards the door it doesn't extrude as much, there's a much smoother transition in that area. Mum's got one in the garage, although it's the older model it's pretty much the same shape

Oh Nuse, will you ever finish a car Great models though but the wide bulge on the front fender is a bit long and too pronounced towards the back.

I've tried and failed and just get frustrated at how slowly it all progresses. I just stick to rendering.
