There's plenty of Americans who are Anti-Everything but NASCAR, just as there are anti-NASCAR people Benny, you're the exception in watching other sports. The majority of Americans* don't give a shit about F1, Grand Am, ALMS, V8s, IRL, whatever, as it isn't NASCAR. Which is stupid. It is still racing after all. I wonder how the Finns will follow Kimi given (IIRC) they haven't got a NASCAR TV deal in place (anyone want to correct me?)
I'll paraphrase a post from another discussion for a moment
Err....No. NASCAR is not 'flooded' with F1 rejects. JPM's gone over and found his spot. Kimi's working his way up, I'd rather he do that than pull a Danica
I'd rather see Kimi in Indycars as they need the name boost more than NASCAR IMO
You too? I nearly got a double kill with one grenade.
I hate how it defaults to super low however...so I get 50m view distance when I can run it fine on ultra high.I did laugh at M16-ing a sniper. I love constant MG fire. I know where to aim at
It's odd, Forza allows user content. (Actually that may have something to do with it...or not) I'm hopin a solution can be found. You'd think Sony would be just as restrictive
I don't see what the fuss is about. Perhaps it is as I'm a Euro, but....people swear. It happens. When you drop a hammer on your foot, do you swear or use a more...kid friendly varient of word?
Ever listen to a racer's radio? Yeah, there's (gasp! shock! horror! THE END IS NIGH!!!) swear words thrown about. IMO, iR is expecting too much by saying "one swear and you're gone". So, if iR ran NASCAR, Jeff Gordon would have been thrown out for saying "My car handles like shit"
Swearing? Of course. In context? Yes.
Anyone who wants to sign up has to be 13 or over, and it's likely they'd hear worse at school/with friends.
I'd rather iR focus on fixing exploits and enforcing their rules.
Agreed. IMO swearing's a quick and easy way for them to look busy.
That was my point about how a broadcast type experience is (IMO) the wrong direction for sports games to be headed in. As in it gets stale and kills immersion
Seeing that was interesting. They got Ty Norris?? Must get it!
Although...I think, and get disagreed with here, that trying to make a broadcast type game isn't going to work. In a way, radio allows more freedom than a TV type package in games.
However...I'd rather have the driving nailed before adding commentary guys
