^ Borrowed a Banshee and pulled up to the lights with a Bullet in the other lane. Burned out and holy crap that Bullet is fast. That makes me want to get the Adder and dare anyone to beat me. I just hope GTAO won't be full of Adders mind. I'm finding Franklin my fave character so far strangely, just hanging around his hood and watching everything going on is relaxing, though so is just going for a walk around Rockford Hills as Mikey, wander down to a coffee place or Vespucci Beach and just people gaze. Fun times.
As for the cops, started at the MZ Med Center andpunched a guy who cut me off in traffic. One star. Shot a guy to get his SUV. Two stars. Hiding in bushes and watching the cops go past? Priceless.
EDIT: Oh yeah. I now wound up with a Rhino thanks to shenanigans on the military base. Amazingly they weren't happy with one being borrowed. Cops won't be a problem now. It's the guys with AT stuff I'm worried about. Which is why I'm currently headed up Mt Chilliad with it. Those bikes at the top? Nah, not a problem
Can you unattach attachments on weapons? I like having a silencer but given how crappy the reticule is....I was using the muzzle flash as an indicator I had actually fired.
Going by that logic, they can't use Petty's 43. Which they did circa 1993 onwards first with Rick Wilson and had it on the back of Kyle's pole winning 44 at Daytona.
The #3 is a number. Dale also drove the 2 and 15. Where's the outcry about anyone using those? He drove the #3 in ARCA. That number's used by a full time driver.
Didn't say it was crap though, I said EFLC improved it. IV's vanilla physics were good...bikes aside mind, I have no idea what happened there, and TLAD fixed the bikes and TBOGT tweaked the whole physics set to make it better...
But in no way was IV's default physics crap howeer. It was good, it gave a sensation of driving a car as opposed to the PS2 games where it was like pushing a toy car around.
EFLC tweaked the physics and made the bikes handle better though.
I'd rather have a IV/EFLC-type physics system WITHOUT a silly arbitary limit that dictates how a car turns. If I'm going 100 and turn left, I don't want the car to magically slide left around a corner because I maxed out a skill.
I want the car to react how it should according to the forces acting on it.
EDIT: No the best bit of IV was the random screwing around with friends on MP on a voice chat program. The fun that can be had
Yes I noticed it and it looked like a mix of MCLA (awful low speed handling) and GTA III to SA era (over responsive controls). I'm hoping they can patch in a steering sensitivity slider, though you watch R* won't deem it important enough to look at, or their idea of a 'fix' will be to push it toward even more arcade.
That's the one and only time arcade is justified. Okay so GTA was never a high end driving sim, but....
EDIT: Oh and yes I played MCLA through twice. Low speed handling on that sucked. Anything at high speed was okay, but low speed? Forget it. Medium speed? Don't go there.
IIRC David Hoots told Brad's team the restart order several times, the team told Brad what David said, then Brad decided to STILL question it.
I'll dig out the radio transmissions from the video in a few, I don't believe Jayski saying Brad and his team didn't hear what NASCAR was telling them.
Brad challenges NASCAR at every call when things don't go his way though. Newman I can kind of get, since he did have Kurt's car land on him (then again he's got an engineering degree from Purdue), but why not put that engineering degree to use and go to NASCAR and offer to help, instead of laying into them, the track, the laws of physics and everything else?
Brad though....He needs to quit whining every time stuff don't go his way. Fox broke down the restart issues and proved him wrong. I'm all for drivers speaking their minds but Brad needs to STFU from time to time and not whine and bitch that things didn't go his way every time something goes wrong.
Brad's not running well enough on the track? He'll just bitch on Twitter about it after the race even if he drives his way to the front. Same thing if he gets caught up in a wreck, he'll just go to Twitter.
Danica to team: Why isn't Gilliland letting me by?
Gilliland to media: Danica, SHUT UP AND RACE
I'd side with DG on this one, much as I'm not a big fan of his, Danica was whining when he was racing her for position then whining when Ambrose got loose and into her. Okay, she's a rookie, but....
Leigh Diffey is a good commentator, but better suited to sports cars, Brian Till is awful, Townsend is okay.
Problem is rather than go for somebody that actually knows Indy, NBC wanted a foreign voice. They ought to move Leigh down from lead spot to analysis, and put somebody in the lead spot who actually knows what they are on about, Just for the love of God, NO NEIL CROMPTON!
