Comparing gun laws and drug laws is stupid however. Guns directly kill somebody. Drugs (for the most part) do not. You read about shootings, right? How many times do you read about somebody being suffocated by marajuana leaves or injected with pure drugs so they die?
Those 'anti gun types' do have a point. Just as pro gun types have a point and just as people around the world have a point.
Fact is pre-1996, Australia had a murder and gun problem. Post 1996 and the buyback of guns, Australia has had zero mass murders, the goverment bought back somewhere in the region of 300,000-500,000 weapons.
Your area is not the US as a whole. Yes, you live in a rough area (and that's putting it lightly), but do you honestly think the whole US is like your street or hood? It isn't, there's plenty of areas that are on both sides of the debate.
Lastly, rehashed responses? I could say the same for your posts and other American responses, so it isn't just from one side.
So what's the difference between people with guns being selfish and people with cars, or knives, or planes?
There's thousands of responsible butchers and chefs with knives, but there's a tiny, insane minority (as with guns and cars) that make knives a danger.
Which is stupid though and very, very short sighted to focus in on one media and one media only.
Guns don't kill people, People do. Games don't train people to go and get a rifle and murder anyone any more than LFS trains you how to race a BF1 at 220mph around London.
Burning or destroying one media is a straw man argument. For argument's sake, let's say the shooter liked rap music, would the town now be destroying every bit of music they could? Or if they liked TV, the town would want to turn off every TV? That article had a comment saying to burn every religious text, That I would get behind.
The town's reaction is knee jerk and just as stupid as the people who went online and attacked the Mass Effect fan page.
I wouldn't say his dad failed though, he had the funding and talent to run a full Truck season and go down in history for flipping a SuperTruck, something that still gets talked about by some fans, he took a win in 1997 at Richmond, he ran 3.5 years of Trucks. That isn't a failiure, that's sticking it out. Brian, I'm still on the fence on, I think if Penske put Brian in the 22, and gave him good equipment we'd have Brad/Brian duelling for wins out there. I would love to see Brian in a Hendrick car or a Penske or a SHR car and have a top ride and the talent to match it.
Brad is flat out hilarious. First his rant at Phoenix, then his tweet post-race, then that press conference and interview, that has so many soundbites in it
