With full Season 2 details soon to be fully announced we have decided to give you interested and curious people a sneeky peak as too what you can expect this season.

Last year we ran most things in the LFS forums... reports show us that several people have been working on a new dedicated website.

Thats right guys.... they are back!

We've recently been supplied a picture from an anonymous source of the Season 2 Baby-R Promo Car being put through isome of its first installation laps.

Audio telemetry has been used to confirm that the car is running the same powerplant as last season. Rumour has it that the car was running a revised 'Chicane' setup suspension package giving lead to the question of what new configurations and tracks are likely to be seen and used in the forthcoming second Season.

Organisers of the league would not give any specific answers at this time but did say thorugh their press officer that all will be "revealed shortly"

Well, that is indeed a question.

We feel that as a week night league that we cannot comfortably have a league that covers both sides of the pond.

That said, we would be interested to hear from any interested parties that may want/wish to run an Americas version of the Baby-R league that will rule the same league rules and events and will race at +5 hours or something like that on the same day

exactly 36? why 36... maybe you mean 30

The majority of the tracks we have are only able to have 30 racers on them


Last season we had 50 sign ups of which 43 drivers actually raced and 36 scored points.

hope we get a similar number this time

minimum 350 Watt Power Supply required with 18A on the +12V Rail is listed as this type of card requirements - does your PSU have this or is it the stock PSU that came with the Computer?

We are currently setting up Season 2 and will soom launch full details of the rules, Events calander and how to sign up.

We will also be launching everything you need for the series as well, including a detailed website etc etc.

Also as soon as we have all this in place we will open up the sign up and get advertising banners completed.

Hi people

I have a small request.

I am after someone who would be able to render some UFR cars for to help promote the Season 2 Baby-R league that will be happening shortly. These images will appear on avatars as well as the website and forums that are currently being created.

In total there will be 3 or 4 cars that need rendering.

The authors work will be credited fully on the website we are making.

If anyone is willing to make these renders for me please contact me either here or by using the private message facility.

edit: forget it - I see you wanna 'captured' material...

if you are in a series which means heavy body damage and the like then it would be silly in my opinion for people to offer and suggest a scheme that is time consuming for you to use.

This is why I said about what do you like, what do you follow for instnace...

If you followed fottball, why not piant the car in the basic colour scheme of your team... that would be simple but also distrinctinve etc etc

not at all - the onlt 'fixed' part is the 45% engine restriction - everythnig else is up to the driver

Well he crashed, and put himself a few places back. After that he at best matched the pace of the other quicker drivers. So that's an average, (maybe a bit above average) performance marred by a fairly fundamental mistake. That's got to score less than 5/10.

The team however, took a gamble and it paid off in that Hamilton didn't need to pit just to change tyres, as did the majority of the rest of the field. Team performance 8/10.

Conclusion. The team won the race not Hamiltons drive. If he hadn't had the good fortune, of his teams decision, to be able to make the tyre swap at the same time as fuel up for the last stint he would most likely have finished 4th at best, possibly even 5th.

There was one other contributing factor, which no one seemed to comment on on the day. That was the fact that the race was unduely held up behind the safety car for several more laps than it should have been as two drivers refused to unlap themselves. This significantly reduced the chances of the top drivers to gain on and overtake Hamilton, and also ensured that the race didn't go the full distance. Guess what teams those two drivers belonged to. Yep the same teams as the two front runners. Concidence? You decide.
