So no, sorry. It's a decent idea, but that's what endurance day is for, and it'd simply spread the licenced racers much too far apart. My take on this suggestion would be to change it a bit, and say that endurance day should just use much longer races than it does now, but in the same server.

we used to get 20 odd people in Race 3 from time to time - it was great - but it was not consistant numbers..

The sort of thing that is being suggested is almost 'organised' races.

Thats the problem, pickup racing is fine, people will wait a few minutes and or still join and do a few warm up laps - but say you had a 30 min race, people turning up after a few laps would then not want to join and race for all that time and not get points etc etc..

Sign up won't be until NEXT week.

Also sign ups are not necessarily first come first served.

We are looking at ways of increasing the number of signups and racers - but more of that when its announced.

Last year we had 55 sign ups for a 30 place league and we ended up with a pre-qualifying system.

We also ran about a month of practice weeks so evereyone got used to the cars and the combos and the format we will sure do the same this season

Really hoping that we can get everything done this weekend and get sign up and everything else started next week.

We are making some good and exciting changes so we hope everyone likes it

Make your own skins of MG racing cars - after all MG were a REAL life team in the BTCC and stuff - so you could EASILY make your own skins in whatever resolution you wanted.

Just make a NEW team, call it something similar, like MGR or |MR etc etc and make your own skins. It would be a completely NEW team that you can run.

Afterall they took a RL team and skins and made something very similar, so as long as you don't steal or rip any of their skins therer should be no reason why you can not do your own thing.
