Better= shoes that better cushion/support your feet when running. also, maybe look at the form you were using while running if that is what caused it. also, getting the heart rate up and blood pumping (warm up) is good too w/ a light jog or something before you start running hard

AMD' cant compete w/ intel's high end :/ the last 2 cpus (e8400, i7 920) i bought were intel. hopefully AMD will have something better than my i7 the next time I upgrade. I am not fully over to the dark side, my graphics card is AMD/ati. I think my main rig will always been ATi.

you should see if you can get a q9550 instead of an e8400 for that price. also, you can prlly get a cheaper motherboard, unless you are going for a heavy overclock. That is a lot of money to spend on a 775 motherboard. 2x2 sticks of reputable DDR2 1066 ram instead of 2x1.

man, this game's really fun. I only play a little bit and take a break so that i don't get sick of the map. its really fun just owning tons of people in the tank, i prefer to drive, but if someone else is a good driver, gunning is a blast too.

I already thought the textures for the soldiers etc, looked very good, but I read they're gonna be better in the retail version.

sniping is pretty fun in that game. I only miss the blood/gore sometimes... can't wait to try new maps! You play arma II as well? I was looking to join a clan that played that regularly.

285gtx is the current 2nd best graphics card by nvidia, so its the 2nd best for LFS . Buying one is pretty dumb now, since the ATi 5850 is around the same price and is better. Its mostly 275's on sale now, and the 5850 is much better than that. Unleeessss , you get a used 285

Nvidia's next gen cards are coming out in a few months.

its only 16gb after it unpacks onto ur hard drive. DiRT 2 is still fun imo. its just more forgiving than RBR + the roads are not as dangerous

dirt 2 is really fun. I didnt like Dirt or Grid much, because the controls were so bad imo. But Dirt 2 actually feels much more direct, and weight transfer seems much more realistic. i can do Scandinavian flicks to get around hairpins.

that is a very nice overclock for a p35 mobo. your system's fine 4870x2 is faster than my 5850, but 5850 has DX11.

if you go AMD, you could get a phenom II 945, ATi 5770, and 4gb ram system for around that amount, maybe. I that would hold you for a while.

either way, you should really not try to go lower than a q9550 or a Phenom II quad if spend a decent amount of time gaming.
