If you are loading an HD video on youtube, you won't get stuttering if you start the video from the beginning. if you try to load midway, it will stutter.
that could be a problem caused by the camera itself and not actual steering lag. my camera does the same thing when i record myself. they need to use some sort of filter.
I'm interested to see how realistic it is when set to full sim mode with no assists. Will some cars require healtoe/blipping to downshift properly with some cars? Do you have to press the clutch to upshift properly? What about throttle response etc...
sofar, the one in rfactor seems the most impressive version of the Nordschleiffe to me. Gran turismo 4's was okay. all the others I've tried have been off by a lot. I wonder how it will be in this game.
Machida and Anderson silva will probably never fight because they trained together and are "friends".
Rashad's footwork is very flawed, and it looks like his plan was to counterstrike Machida, when machida has better footwork and a more efficient fighting style. rashad landed about 2 decent shots in the whole fight.
Even Rashad's own trainers say that his footwork can be improved. And there's the things that the general MMA fighter does and gets away with that rashad did... that machida capitalized on. Machida basically does the same thing every fight, for the last 8 years or so. he has just gotten better and better and no has beaten him yet... I'd really like to know how specific and detailed greg jackson's gameplan was for machida, but I never will since I'm not on their team...
I'd like to see Gegard Mousasi in the UFC... but that's unlikely.
go gobble some knobs. I'm not a fanboy at all. the mod was not very impressive. its free, so that's nice. but the graphics are dated and so are the physics. as a game its okay. AI actually avoided me and didnt smash into me
I'm happy with my turbo wheel for the most part... drivers are still beta... but I'd pick the GT3 RS clubsport over the g25. the clubsport pedals are supposed to be really good. the pedals can be set to vibrate when you lock brakes in rfactor, and the pedal vibration will probably work with other games too. you can also set LED to show different things. the force feedback is better, etc.
there's still no working signed drivers for vista 64-bit, so you have to use DSEO or some other program which isnt hard at all...
if you spend a decent amount of time racing, you won't regret it. If you play PS3/xbox,etc, you may want to check the features of the different fanatec wheels to see which support the consoles too.
I know my turbo wheel works w/ ps2 and ps3, and I think the turbo s works with the 360. I don't know the compatibility for the GT3 RS off the top of my head, but its on the website.
I somehow got the new drivers to work in vista 64... I'm not sure which of my steps worked. I went and i searched and deleted PWsrvc and the other porsche wheel stuff left over from uninstalling, then I restarted.
Then I clicked to play rfactor, but the dongle wasn't plugged in, so I put it in and closed rFactor... Then I went to control panel and opened Game controllers. then i closed it. then I installed drivers. and now they;'re working properly. I guess i could uninstall and try again but I just want to play for now

nvm, i went to play rfactor and got no force feedback, and now I can't see the porsche setup menu again...
AHH... it works if you go through Game controllers and not the link on the desktop... but i'm still not getting any force feedback
anyone know a fix for turbo's pedals losing range? my pedal registers as being 100% pressed down when its only at about 90% or so, and the 1st 5% doesn't register as being pressed. I guess I'd have to buy more expensive pedals? I checked dxtweak2, and it doesn't show any more range, so it must be something w/ the pots or something?
