you might get lucky using only the 20pin connector from the psu for the motherboard.
i am not sure about the orientation of the header so... depending on that, the motherboard, the psu and the phase of the moon you might be able to pull it off with only the 20 pins connected.

i missed no point. why did you add 'light' when you said 'fast light' ? doesn't 'fast' include stuff like power to weight ratio? did you add 'light' because you think weight will help the car fly further, or not?

something in your computer is probably overheating.

maybe locked is indeed faster (and realisticaly so) for hotlapping and chasing a WR but it is too hard on the tyres, a problem which would manifest itself only after many laps of driving.

went around kcalb a few laps in the xfr with slip diff and locked diff. more or less the same tyre temp.

disconnect everything.
remove everything.
memory, cables, cards, hard drives, usb ports, fans, whatever.

put the cpu in the socket. put the cpu heatsink. plug the cpu fan.
plug the psu on the motherboard
plug the cpu power.
plug the psu on the wall socket.
turn on the psu (if at this point the psu starts on its own, it most probably means that your mobo is dead.)

short the PWR pins of the motherboard.

if i forget something, please correct me. i think i got it all.


warning: this is from memory so better check it yourself if these are the correct cables!!!
if you are feeling adventurous, there is a way to test the psu. you short the green cable with one of the black ones. if it starts, your psu might be ok.

remember: if something bad happens to you, it's not my fault. (sorry)

There are issues with viriligo, however

* it appears as patches on the skin, it does not cover everything.
