As long as the lap is a valid HLVC lap use whatever set up you like whether it be keyboard, mouse, wheel, manual gears, automatic. The purpose is to find someone who is a quick racer and give them a S2 licence.

If you put the direct link to an image between [img] [/ img] tags (without the space) then the image will load on the page. Instead of having lots of large images load, if people post links then they can just be cloicked on to view the image.
So:
Do post a link like : http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3969/ballad6.jpg
Do not put the link in [img] tags.
If you have not previously released the skin then it will be vaild as long as you convert the design for the other cars.

Hotlap mode shows the fastest HLVC lap that you have done in that session 
There are 2 licences:
Whoever does has the fastest laps wins a licence.
Whoever has the best looking skins wins a licence.
For the time competition, you just need to do the fastest laps you can in hotlap mode on blackwood in each of the cars. Then make sure you post the replays in this thread before 23:59 UTC on 14/09/2009.

S2 licences are not transferable under the agreement of sale.

No rule I posted why you can't, though the idea is to give a licence to someone who doesn't have one.
Been thinking about it for a while, getting close to league season so why not now.
Although the first 4 responses to this thread have all been licenced users lol.
Attention demo users - Win a S2 licence.
A possibility for 2 demo users to receive a S2 Licence. A demo user can enter both competitions, if however the same user wins both competitions the second licence will go 2nd place in lap times. The demo user must have a join date before today (13/08/2009) to enter this competition.

Winner decided by me (not by general consensus)
Normal skin rules apply (no swearing, pornographic imagery etc.)
Must skin 3 cars:
1 Road car (uf1, xfg, xrg, xrt, fxo, rb4, rac, fz50, lx4, lx6, vws)
1 Race car (ufr, xfr, fxr, xrr, fzr)
1 Single Seater (mrt, fbm, fox,fo8, bf1)
Skins cannot be for the same car across road and race cars (so you can’t do the race car if you have skinned that road car e.g. you can’t do uf1 and ufr, xfg and xfr etc.)
Skins must be in a set (same design across the 3 cars)

Stop demo bashing. He didn't mention what car the skin is for so being demo has nothing to do with it or uploading it to lfsw, just that he can't get the skin to work.
If you details exactly what is the problem with your skin then we will be able to help. General advice though-
Name the skin correctly like Void mentioned
The needs to be a .jpg image
Place the skin file in lfs/data/skins
When in lfs, select to add a new paintjob and select the skin file name.

Ever since I have beenplaying LFS has had slip streaming. Though IIRC in one of the patches there was a note about the force of slipstreaming being reduced. Can't remember exactly though.

LFS progress has always been relativly slow. We know the devs are still alive, Victor has posted on here recently and the test patches are being updated by Scawen. They announced earlier this year that they hope to have an update later this year, so be patient and wait. Just think of the Guiness advert, good things come to those who wait
@ Fuse5: I don't think anyone grudges the fact that CTRA has gone. I don't know anyone that isn't 'over it' but doesn't mean we don't want something that was brilliant back again.

Going back to pick up and play races kept me entertained for a while but i did get bored of it eventually. So the only set up limitation is the air intake restriction.

Good times, i used to have and XFG set like that. A bit of weight transfer and you could keep sideways for the whole corner (no handbrake 'ass dragging' needed.) Used to go onto demo drift servers and outscore people in the XRT
Anyway on topic, the lift off oversteer is there. The only corner on blackwood its noticeable is the very last corner as every other corner you need to brake for or don't lift off.
I think nearly everyone wishes it would be back again. It was one of the reason i stopped racing. However knowing the logistical (for lack of a better word) nightmares of running the CTRA and the fall out afterwards, it doesn't suprise me it failed and I don't expect it back up.
Unless you unlock it on another PC e.g. Brothers/Sisters/Friends then lock it again when you leave.

Agreed, we need to get people to be able to spell correctly before teaching them the correct words to use. I can accept words that are, to all intents and purpose, synonymous with each other (shop, store etc.) but not incorrect spelling as that just makes it hard to understand what people are on about.

I think everyone can agree that yes microsoft made a big mistake with the 360 and RROD. However I have to give credit to them for offering the support to replace and RROD xbox's and upgrade the xbox's to reduce the risk. While yes it is a problem and some people have the problem more often than not. If I knew a product had a chance of failing sometime in the future but that the company would offer a full replacement then it is not so bad. I can see your car ananology dawedust, however in your anology you woule be risking your life buying tyres with a failure rate similar to the 360 whereas the 360 fails, your without a console for a couple of weeks which isn't the end of the world.
Either way whichever way you swing (maybe both ways) it is because of the games. I am not a particular fan of MS but just because of that, I wouldn't go out and buy a ps3 (though I try to avoid sony too) because there are more games on the 360 that I wanted of that I knew was due to be released. To use your car anology dawedust, it would be like wanting a sports car and buying a van. Its not your taste and its not what you want.

I have to say, taking into account all my first dates, they all tend to go well. Well by 'well' I mean they are not married or their dads chase me around in a car lol.
