Bit late here but one of those unexpected family visits everyone hates lol.
Yes, Dynamic Racing has made it to its birthday, it seems to have gone by so quick but then times flies when your having fun. There have been some ups and downs as in any team but more ups than downs so that is good
DR has grown over the past year into a team I am proud to be in and be leader of, though it seems to run itself We have been racing and having fun in black and orange and will continue to do so
Making it to 1 year is a milestone in any team but I like to think we have achieved alot too, with drivers doing well in GFC, GTTC and entering into IGTC. Also we have managed to get 2 WR's, which is unbelievable really, those aliens are just weird and to find you have some racing you too
This is to 1 year of Black and Orange and to another year too come.
Racing: Driving a car as fast as possible on the edge of grip around a race track
Drifting: Sliding a car, with as much angle and speed as possible.
I race alot but I do drift occasionally and I find both fun. I am really unbiased when it comes to motorsport as I will watch any sport as long as it comes with engines and wheels (and sometimes sports with no wheels) but people enjoy different things, Some people like football, rugby, basketball, baseball, motor racing racing etc - Why? Who knows its just a personal opinion. The thing is about opinions is that no one is right or wrong on them but this forum still seems to argue about them lol.
HAHA! Amazing how many people get it from the same place.
Depends what you mean by something to do with cars. Do you mean for a personal side, say 3ds max modelling and rendering cars or more as a future career. I can only speak from the career point of view with my main knowledge being CATIA V5 (R13 onwards if your interested) Alot of car firms use CATIA, even small companies who I didn't think would. It is a big (maybe even go as far as huge) program with so many options, settings and things to do etc that learning on your own IMO would be difficult but maybe possible.
Not read this whole thread but, I saw them last year on the sick of studio tour and they played all the fans favorites - master of puppets, sad but true, nothing else matters, no leaf clover, fuel, one, seek and destroy, creeping death, memory remains etc. Was awesome, only thing I didn't like was it was at the new wembley which doens't make that good a venue really.
Those new songs almost sound a bit rough, like they have got the 90% of it sorted but they havn't done the fine tweaking. I love their older stuff more (motorbreath being fav song) and initially I wasn't so keen on St. Anger but i have all their songs on my mp3 player and if you have it on random the st anger songs are close to their older 'thrash metal' days and it has grown on me.
If you can find an image that has enough detail (angle doesn't matter) that shows off the shading on the yellow 'splat' and purple writing then I can make you one
That is expensive, cinema by me is £5.30 for an adult, reduced to £3.50 for a student and buy one get one free with vouchers off the internet so £1.75 per ticket
I could go through the trouble of downloading a film or getting an illegal copy another way but to be honest with the cinema being that cheap then I just go the cinema. Also as someone complained earlier about seats uncomforable etc, it is a nice cinema, comfortable seats, usually about 10 minutes of adverts and unless it is the first couple of nights a big film comes out, relativly empty
There are a fair few, seems alot of karters. Tristan does obviosly too. Most well known I know of is Mike Jordan who seems to be a serial tin top racer Though there are probably many more.
Its not though, the limiter is set to 13,000 but the shift indicator tells you when to change for the best shift time. If you didn't shift then you could rev it higher. Only reason optimum shift point is so low is the mrt uses a restrictor in the intake system (and tristan said lower compression) which alters the torque and power curves but un restriced engine could easily rev to the 13k.
That could indeed be difficult, so buy a g25 then lol
Stalling the engine is an improvement, but I agree with strobe. Stalling = great improvement but if it was to the point of you must have (or buy) a g25 or another 3 pedal wheel then it would force alot of people to stop playing. So I don't think anyone is saying it isn't an improvement just small concessions have to be there to reach the wider audience.
I do think it is has some value to teams recruiting but it isn't the be all and end all. As Tristan put it it really comes down to the driver.
IMO stats can be of some value, if you are a team looking to recruit someone then if they have 1 online race and very slow pb's then I would question how long the have had lfs and if for some time then it suggests they do not race online much. Conversly if someone has 100,000 miles and a pb on nearly every combo within a few tenths of WR times. Mileage alone doesn't mean anything but all the stats together do have some value Though the only true way to see is race them
It is just when you download skins to your skins x folder they used to be 512x512 but now if you credit your account you can use that money to 'buy' the higher res skin downloads (1024 x 1024)
Not had mine a year only ~ 10 months or so but i wil post anyway.
Can't say anything that hasn't been said. The shifter does seem a bit flimsy but the wheel and pedals top notch. Buttons is a problem as i was used to my dfp with buttons galore on the wheel but soon got used to not having them. All in all cost, IMO, a fiar chuck of money for a game controller but it is a very good wheel.
To help reduce Lewis Hamiltons speed the FIA cut off the lower section of his left arm. Efforts were taken to hide this fact during sponsorship photoshoots but it could still be clearly seen.
I am sure there are guides to this in the wiki but i feel generous so here goes
This is obviously with the English version as I don't speak Egyption :
Open LFS
Go into Options -> Controls
Make sure "wheel/js" is selected at the top
Go to "Axes/ff"
Press your throttle pedal down, watching on the left which axis moves
Click the word "throttle" and then select the axis that moved in the above step
Do the same for your brake and clutch.
For me throttle axis 1, brake axis 2, clutch axis 4.
Make sure that for the pedal axis that it says "invert 1" and not "invert 0"
I don't think this will help much but its become my way of living really. Let me take this time to apologise for my spelling in this post though, been at work all day, tired and my keyboard is not working 100% so all in i expet my spelling to suck.
My way of living life, my ethos really, is that life will have its ups and downs and nothing you can do in the grand scheme of things to control them so why get focused on the times your down and try to change it. Yeah your in a rough patch but focusing on it, for me anyway, winds me up in my own self pity so I know things will get better in time and i just let it change.
