I agree. From what I have seen Button is moving due to wanting to better his chances of competing for the championship again next year and to drive for a team such as McLaren. We don’t know how well he will do in McLaren but I think Button has the talent to survive and do well. Alonso joined McLaren with too much confidence and arrogance thinking he was the best. I think Button has enough of both to go into McLaren and get them to work for him as they do for Hamilton. If he does then he is a good enough driver to win races again. On track Button and Hamilton will be against each other but hopefully in the development of the car their friendship will benefit the team. What a complete and utter b*itch does she come across in that article. Brawn were the best car at the beginning but they weren’t at the end and to top it off, Button still beat his team mate in the same car. The winner is the one who wins most points and therefore is the most worthy champion. To say he doesn’t deserve it because of how long he has been in the sport, does she not realise how bad Honda were and for how long the were bad for. Ofcourse the car is important, the best driver in the world will not win with a car that is 3 seconds off the pace.
Me and then I ran away screaming like a small girl haha.
It is good for practice, as you can pick how many come at you as if you kill them before you press. First time though I didn't know and got killed almost instantly
The problem with all this comes down to how do you truely compare skill when one driver could be in a quicky car, a car they is easier to drive or even recently cars under different regualtions. Depends how you decided 'the best'. Taking Hamilton and Alonso: Hamitlon beat Alonso in the same machinery so Hamilton is better. But Alonso has won 2 WDC's to Hamiltons 1 WDC so Alonso is better. Hamilton has done better sooner in F1 than Alonso - Hamilton is better. Alonso hasn't made so many high profile mistakes so back to Alonso. Its all to subjective as people use personal opinions also. I think you can sum it up with - There's lies, damn lies and statistics.
Edit: Will also add. To be in Formula you have to be the best of the best of the best of the best. There is such a small margin between the top drivers in F1, is it really worth all this lol.
Depends what you counted as really decent. Not everyone was the same I know, but I made the Norris Designs Evo and RSE Motorsport Evo. I tuned them up completely to U999, applied the paintjob and sold them at auction. The car cost me around 130k, i put a reserve on of 150k so I got some money for it. I did add a buy now for 600k though. Sometimes they went for the buy now, other times they went for the 150k. If you cou ld afford the 130k to buy and tune the car, I am sure you could afford the 20k for the paintjob.
It is difficult to say which is best though. There will be people who are greedy and will try and sell for stupid amounts but if people buy it then it is obviously priced competitively enough. It comes back to do you sell 10 at 100k a car or 100 at 10k a car?
I'm with dajmin on this one. For example I have been making Captain America, which so far has taken around 6 hours and I still haven't finished. If I want to sell this it why can't I sell for what I want. If I try to sell it for too much people wont buy it. Simple demand and supply. The way they described it before hand was what interested me - that you could sell unlimited for less or sell less but for more so they are rarer items. Personally speaking, if I wanted a logo and it was more than 10k, if it was well made i would pay more. While I agree that if it is good it will sell more anyway so not really that big a deal. Though I am sure I sure it mentioned repeatedly that you could sell for what you wanted.
Hopefully they do remove it at some point though. If the auction house is unlimited why can't storefront be too.
I guess the Hyundai car pack has been released then If my memory is right the xbox update is today as well. Im curious to find out, does that mean we can now sell thing on the storefront for more then 10k?
Huh? So you disagree with me then prove what I said lol. It's hard to say who is the best driver on the grid but I agree Alonso is definatly a contender for that title. Still doesn't change the fact, I don't like him lol. Thats just a personal opinion of how he comes across in interviews and his actions.
I do not doubt that Alonso is a very talented driver. I just don't like him. Anyway, Patriotism FTW!
But Ron has moved into the road car side of McLaren so, while he will still have influence, I wonder how much influence he has regards to driver line up. With McLaren being a bigger part in F1 now, maybe Ron will be back. Kimi has had some good races this season and he finished well in the points but he still seemed to be just this season IMO.
Well I know usually it shows the forza number but pressing Y flicks through a couple of screens. I don't remember Kilo Watts though, could it be down to country or something?
I remember reading somewhere, I think it was an interview with Ross, that he joined too late in the development of 2008 to have a big impact. Only through the season he could. Whereas 2009 was under the full impact of having Ross on board. Either way, it was an amazing transformation.
Button and Hamilton in the same team would be an awesome line up. The previous world champsion and the current racing each other in the same machinary - who is going to win.
It is stupid but I will clarify for you so you don’t hate me I’m not calling Alfa Romeos stupid, just my modified versions. Stupid as in they are tuned so far beyond being usable for anything for but huge long power over drifts. There is no way my little Alfa can cope with a fully modified V8 in the front. My Buick is the same, no matter what gear it spins the rear wheels so the only track it is any use is the Le Mans with the old Mulsanne straight where high top speed is useful.
That is a good deal. I got nothing off GAME when mine RROD on day 1. Though, I guess the faults lie with Microsoft not GAME. They are obviously just being nice to you
I have been building a vinyl group for about 3 hours but nearly finished then time for a nice new paintjob with it Though I have found I am at the point on FM3 now where i don't need money to buy or tune cars for racing, so all my winnings go on stupid cars lol like a V8 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint, 220mph Buick Regal etc.
I knew that Mercedes were looking at a bigger share in Brawn but didn't expect them to take a majority share. With McLaren moving the road cars away and now this, is this the end of the Mclaren Mercedes partnership?
Will McLaren be just McLaren now then? or will the keep McLaren Mercedes as they are still powered by them. Eitherway, good McLaren are back but shame the Brawn name is leaving already.
Today is Friday 13th which is unlucky for some. I don't like being unlucky so first demo user to post in this thread gets to be lucky and get a licence Pure and simple.
I know this is a rememberance thread but seriously WTF!
Its nothing to do with a segregated parade. Though armistice day is marked on the date of WW1, it is rememberance for anyone lost in war. No matter of country, who started it who won or who lost. In war everyone looses. So even if there was propaganda to make it 'cool' that was the administration that was in charge not the foot soilders fighting the war and it these who deserve to be remembered.
The big deal is that soon the world wars will pass out of living memory. Some of us still show respect by remembering and honouring those who fought for our freedom. But look over history, look at the trends. We should learn from our mistakes, though as soon as the incidents have passed out of memory it seems we just repeat the same mistakes again.
That is even worse than your initial post. The children crying over the DS need discipline but sending them to war, to see the horrors of war, to fight for their life is not the way. Its like sending a nuclear bomb to kill a fly, use a fly swatter. The economy would not be better, look at the economies of the countries after wars. So much money is spent on the war, through research and development, through munitions etc that more often than not it bankrupts the countries (the three biggest I can think of would be WW1, WW2 and cold war.) Nevermind the cost after the war of rebuilding the country.
In nearly 4 years of being on this forum, never have I felt the need to ignore someone until now.
I don't mind the nurburgring so much as it flows not like Fukimi Kiado or the rally one as all 2nd gear really. Off the top of my head I was thinking of silverstone, suzuka, road america, road atlanta, sebring, laguna seca, catalunya, maple valley and mugello. Which is quite alot of tracks to keep busy on
