I think my FXR is broken...
Hi all,
While trying to break 2:50.xx in a 32% restricted FXR, I seem to always be just 1 second slower than that. The track is AS6.
Somehow, I think I can gain a good second or two in the third sector, but the turn just before merging onto the AS Nat. part of the course seems to have my mind in pieces. Run wide? Stick to the kerbs!? Where do I go wrong (besides choice of car skin)?

SLLR once patched up is very fun, but I find the game loves to CTD on me at often very random times.
Unusual ways for training for specific track combos
Of course, there is always hotlapping and racing online.
But I didn't have a CTRA Gold license to race the FXR-GT2s which are used in iTCC, and I don't think there are servers which raced such cars...
When I train on a track combo with a intake restricted car, usually I'll have a field of AI cars with same or slightly less intake restriction than me. But, in that group of AI cars lies one with significantly less restriction than my own car. He will usually be setup to be fast enough so I can *just* see him, but if I mess up, he will run away and never been seen again (unless I'm getting lapped). Once I am able to keep up with him for a few laps, the intake restriction on his car is then made lower, enough so I still can't keep up. In effect, this basically means no matter how hard I try, I will never be able to overtake him.
If it so happens I have to race with an unrestricted car, I give one/a few AIs cars which are a little faster than my own. These could be restricted intake GTRs with slicks, LXs, so on if I'm racing TBO etc...
I wonder if anyone else does this.

1:14.11 with 30 kg ballast, I'm sure I can find another two seconds on that main straight, but I'm too scared to change downforce values (grip is a big issue for me).
When I was younger, Shotokou Battle Zero (that's Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for you North Americans) was probably one of the most addicting games I ever played.

I like "normal day-life" cars too, but on a personal level if such cars are included, I'd like to have the fastest "everyday cars" (ie. Corvette, Lancer Evolution, Impreza STi/WRX, etc...)
Extreme-G racing series for the N64, PS2 or Gamecube are rather good. They could be difficult to get used to, since it's all straight-up arcade and XG3's menu music can be annoying.

Ah yes, I remember making the "big" GTRs for GR and released 'em there.
A Taiko no Tatsujin skin for the XRR.

The only good GT-Rs are the KPGC10 and the R32. All the other Skyline GT-Rs have something about them I don't like. Moreso the R35, because it is crammed with so many electronics it could be mistaken for a house.
GRID only looks good. You can't "feel" minor damage or even aero damage, only if the damage indicator for something goes red.
So any modification to the car is rice? (just for clarity)
