Thanks for the renders, but how the pink splitter on the imas_miki one got messed up in beefyman's render is very far beyond me.

edit: those sudden 'white' pixels on the splitter were stupidity on my part. Maybe next time I should use texture kits more carefully.

Um, I DO race. But sometimes I get bored of that. So I go offline to watch the AI race. Maybe I didn't word some things correctly.

Sometimes during some boring hours on the servers, sometimes I let the AI race instead... and it tends to get boring, that one knows that ALL the AI drivers behave virtually the same.

My suggestion for the AI is to allow the user to define a 'characteristic' that changes the AI's behavior. For example, if I chose 'Driver A' to be 'Aggressive', then he could care a little less about getting his car damaged when overtaking. Or if I set 'Driver B' to 'Cautious', that he drives slowly and overtakes ONLY if he is 100% sure if he can do it unscathed.

It bothers me a little to see replicas of real cars. I am wondering if there are good skins (mainly for the TBO cars) which uses LFS' sponsors or real ones that are actually used by the devs.

It could be possible you have 'Draw Rubber' on. This setting shows ALL the skidmarks laid on the tarmac. When the race time becomes very long, many skidmarks will be on the track , thus causing lower framerates than at the start of the race.

Awesome, but the AI's strategy for deciding when to pit doesn't vary at all from AI to AI.
