I suppose that best part of having mods would be a submit system where the software owner gets to check it out for evaluation before it can be released.
I maybe talking through my a*hole but I get the impression that it's not so much about the money but more about prefection and that can only happen when you have complete control over your product. If it was about money LFS may have been under another banner years ago.
If they listen to most on GT planet GT6 will turn into a pimped up NFS. GT6 should have 2 components, 1: as hard core as they can make it for those who want something as close to real as a console can handle. 2: arcade for the noobs who don't know any better and want to just play a game.
It's just me, my kids are all over it and they give me a hard time over it. When I buy software I don't want to login in to another party to do it.
Origin for Battlefield 3 is a good example, I brought a disk and I can't play the thing unless I go through some web interface, played it once and haven't been on since.
I could never get into Grid Iron, too stop start and no flow. I used to enjoy Soccer until one Olympic Games I watch a game and the players would fall over with a gust of wind and look for a penalty.
I'm old school and it's not Holden v Ford anymore, the cars are so simular. Bathurst is the only V8 supercars I watch now and that says more about the track than the cars.
I wonder how many people out there now follow the driver more than the brand, it was a very exciting race for the last 10 laps and a great come back from Craig Lowndes.
This might be a stupid question but I can't select different tracks in P&G. I've followed all the instructions, installed the games and patches and everything works apart from changing from the default. I get Imola and the Special touring cars.
I had downloaded Bathurst for GRT2 and it's in the list and I can see the map under circuit but doesn't load.
I maybe mistaken but are a few of the little gauges in the cockpit view seem to be now working. I know the fuel gauge didn't work in the cockpit view but I haven't done a long enough race to see if this has changed.
It's good we can now adjust all the individual gears, and there in now weight ballast to adjust in the car.
Didn't like how the changes in weight, power etc flashes to the 'pp' and 'kg's'. Hard on the eyes.
Call me old school, but this is the most reliable phone I have. You cant talk face to face with anyone under 30 without an SMS going off or some hip hop ring tone interupting the conversation.
