Quote from danowat :Yes, the Fiat 500, upgrade the car a little (sport filter, sport clutch / flywheel, 5 sp close ratio box, carbon bonnet, suspension), and its much easier

Am I getting the wrong Fiat 500?

It's 68BHP when you buy it new, to race it has to be 65BHP.

It won't let me in.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :The only reason I won was on the straight. Had I not added a turbo when I bought it, I probably would have lost. It was pretty difficult (1 TCS, 1 ABS, Everything else off).

I find with the Minolta for wahatever reason.. if you don't have soft tyres on, the rear just.. goes when turning in.. I don't know setups or I'd fix it.. it's just the worst part about that car, and really plagues it.

Try this HERE, it's for the GT4 game but I've adapted some of the setups here and they haven't been to bad.

Quote from CoolColJ :Wonder if the IS-F ends up looking like Kaz's race car used in the 24 Hour Nurburgring when RM'ed ?

Here it is

Set the gears to 400 kph, use drafting techniques.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :I have one.. but it's a bit too understeery to actually win which is the problem. Needs that mid corner grip that the minolta has

Use the Mazda concept car from the MX-5 race from B-Spec, give it all the mods you can and give it full downforce and you will beat most things even your Minolta.

Quote from danowat :I am now at a point where, to race in the remaining events I need either a) lots of money to buy car x, or b) wait for days and days for car x to appear in the used car dealership.

Anyone got any tips for the best events (not specials) to farm money in?

A-Spec Expert
Polyphony Digital Cup: I think you get $3?,000 a race and $98,000 for winning the championship and it's 3 races at 5 laps a race.

Quote from Inouva :In all the videos i`be watch, even with the crappy 480/720p from youtube they can be readed perfectly

Also the only cars that have cockpit are the prem, and all that cars have a insame texture resolution....

In GTP forum i`be read some comments about the blurry in the game, but that is for the tv they are using to play the game or are using in 720p insted of 1080p

maybe your tv is kinda "Crap" or you are running the game in 720p

P.D :I dont own a ps3 nor gt5, but i read all the info from GTP forum, I read here as well

My Tv is a Sony Bravia LED running at 1080p, and on some of the premiums the dial are blurry.

Looks like i`m not the only one with that request.

Without the hud you can't see what the dial are because most of them are blurry.

Quote from GFresh :Have you set your USB stick up to work with the PS3?
If not, you have to have a certain set of folders in the root of the stick, which the PS3 looks for, and uses...

PICTURE
VIDEO
MUSIC
GAME

Put those folders in the root of the stick, and you'll probably find you can transfer those photo's.

Thanks GFresh, I'll give that a go. My USB doesn't have any folder on it.

Quote from Hotdogxx60 :Connect storage media at the save destination, what's this mean. I have plugged in my USB to the PS3. Is there a setting thing I'm missing.

Yes, I'm a noob

I got around the Photo thing by using the PSP and I can plug it in to my PC without a hitch.

Quote from danowat :You have to "export to XMB" in the game.

I've done that and they are under the photo section on the XMB, were do I go from there. I've plugged in a USB stick and I can't see how to get the photos on to it.

In the old GT series could you do a brake upgrade in the tuning shop, I can't remember as it looks like the brakes are either very good to start with or they progressively get better as you upgrade.

Apparently a patch will be out on Sunday 28th, mainly to do with the on line side. Will add power and weight restriction on the server side and some other fixes in game. It's a bit sketchy but it's been reported that there will be regular patches through out the games life.

If only LFS could supply the content of GT, it would be a perfect world. But one has to wonder at what took so long and Kaz need to put some sort of feed back board in the game so that people that have actually paid and played the game can tell him were his going wrong, does anyone like the museum cards.

When you get photo locations for rewards I get annoyed, I think the photo mode on the reply is ok, but like any type of photo mode I won't use it. I still think they could have used the programing space on other things, the game still needs a bit of refining on the graphics and we could have had some of the other tracks back in and some more premium cars rather then photo mode.

Quote from bunder9999 :i think that's a difference of opinion... i've done both in my GT4 careers, and still maxed out my garages.

With all the past GT series I have always gone value for money and started with it and upgraded as many bits as I could afford. I wasn't referring to the maxing out of one's garage but more peoples opinion on how they start with their first car.
