i see what your saying by random faliurse, and maybe it was the wrong term to use, and i get your point on build quality, what i really meant was like faliures due to wear/damage but a bit diffrerent to mentioned earlier, instead of it being eg: over-rev and engine goes it would be more like you over revv it once or twice and do enough damage so that later in the race the parts fail, this does happen. i admit random was the wrong word
well this is supposed to be simulator and thats sort of thing happens for real, i can see what your saying but the faliures wouldnt be often and would maybe be a server setting
i agree this would be an excellent addition, it would add another dimension of realism, and make for more unpredictable racing, though to make that even better random faliures would also be good
lol luke i can just imagine it, it would be funny but only for a few races, maybe if there was a proper commentator aswell it would be ok lol but for some reason itv choose to put the breaks in at the most stupid times, my only worry with going to the bbc is commentators, will they keep the current ones or is it gonan be someone else, i say probably the second one
becosuse some cant be bothered with the rules and just break them maybe, i know pleantly of people like this, though i must say many more people who arnt like this
well when you first(as in first time) go on the server a couple of pages of rules do come up and you have to click 'i agree' to continue
deit: just re-read your post and it seems you did make a referance to this but if the driver in qquestion had read those rules that responce to a report wouldnt have hapened, or may not have, a more reliable way to get people to read the full rules would be good though, ive had this convo on ts with sam etc before and it is very hard to come up with a reliable idea
well i didnt make it up(someone else may have), its something ive been told by someone who doesnt useually make things up, but i may be wrong i dont know but it seems posible that some cars would have it seeing how nanny state-ish cars are getting, you cant fart without the car warning you its flammable(or possibly)lol
no, tristan it uses other sensors etc to know what speed you are going but basicly some cars have systems more to reduce clutch wear, i just simplified it extremly
what alot of cars do is cut engine power when the clutch is depressed to avoid over revving and excessive clutch wear, the only prob is when they go wrong and stay stuck in the off position, meaning car has no power lol
yes there is an adapter that allows you to use any radio with vrc or any game, it connects to the reciever and powers it from the usb, i have one and it works great, i use it for vrc and have used it in lfs, works fine, one of (if not the main) developers is actually an lfs racer and is here on the forums, its jtw
the answer here is to add a whole nother saloon on terms with the gt2 cars, they are quite touring car is especcialy the xfr but they are only hatchback, well ufr is sort of, a gt2 saloon would be a good adition
in school and training to be a mechanic, currently doing work experiance in a the local vauxhall garage workshops which i hop will lead to a part time job and maybe an apreticship in may next year
tbh i have had the same problem of it not liking going into reverse, it will go in but you need to do it right, but i do admit that i have abused it and stood up for quite a beating
looks good, im not a fan of the pipe but it is cheap and simple, how sturdy is it? but about the seat ive got a calibra seat on my race frame, i spend most of the day sitting here as i use this pc for my schooling and it is very comfortable but as it is from a calibra it is quite sporty in that it has large solid side bolsters that hold you in quite nicley
oh yh it also has an electric height adjust and you can change the angle of the seat base as well as the back rest obviously
