Well, apart from the costs of living I don't think there is anything to worry about when going to live in Finland. The Winter can be cold and long I guess, but it's up to your personality if you can 'handle' it and not get depressed.
Heck, I just arrived home from my 4 month study in Finland (today), and I miss it already
I've played it on and off since closed beta, currently PvPing quite actively as a casual/friend in a hardcore PvE guild (Illidan on farm, yiddeyadde) I've only been playing again for about 2 months though...
I've been through a lot in the game anyway; quit the game many times, and sold an old account once, but since I'm playing with cool "oldskool" people again I'm enjoying myself quite a bit right now
For European players:
I'm on Twilight Hammer (PvP) - Alliance side - Jertje
I never swear about games or anything when there are no people around. However, I do swear lots when I'm playing games with people on vent etc. Especially back in the days when I was just starting to speak English on a regular basis I managed to invent some of the most interesting swear-words - and I still do!
An example of a phrase coming out during a moment of heavy focus:
"Ohh... that guy is just a b*tch in the ass... errr pain."
To me, swearing is just a tool of language, and I love using that tool when I'm around people whom I know will not be offended when I swear - same for them. I never, ever swear in public though.
The moment a kart burst into flames as I got out of it, right after the fuel tank had snapped loose. Can't say I've been in many exciting, adrenaline pumping moments apart from that
It's possible to see with the naked eye, quite easily actually, and the ISS is often mistaken for a UFO (although, technically it is a UFO to those people.. but let's not go into that). Most clear nights it is possible to see the ISS at least once, and it's usually visible for 2-5 minutes at a time.
If it's anything like Logitech Joysticks, then this just 'happens' and there is little you can do about it. I've had 2 Logitech joysticks break down like this on me, however my DFP and DF still work perfectly, so I don't know.
About 40-45h in a LAN, a lot of 20h gaming sessions. 40h whilst travelling from my student pad in Finland back to ze motherland.
Never longer than that though. I'm sure I could go for 50 easily, but there's just no reason for me to even try it
Exactly... how is porn bad anyway?
As George Carlin once said: "You show me a guy who does nothing but sit around and stroke his **** all day long and I'll show you someone who's not causing any trouble, okay?"
UF 1000 for regular racing, it only takes a couple of laps to be competitive in it, but it takes a lot longer to get the most out of the little bugger :>
Formula XR for hotlapping, leagues and the odd race online, I just love how controllable it is.
I had a quick look, and I find a few 'significant' moments in which you lose time:
- Before you hit the long straight, you have a bit of an awkward entry into the last turn, which causes you to be late on the accelerator; this means losing top speed and thus time.
- I don't know for sure, but it seemed you braked a bit too late, and turned in a bit too hard in the first turn. You were fairly late on the power because of this, which again lost you some time.
- Turned in a bit too hard for the left-right section, and scrubbed off a lot of speed during the understeer that followed. Perhaps if you allow the setup to grant you a bit more oversteer you could do this section faster. It would be important to be smooth on the steering though!
- It's been ages since I did AS Club, but I think I had a completely different approach to braking for the last corner. I noticed you line up to the kerbs, driving almost parralel to them before braking - I recall steering into them at just a bit of an angle before turning in: this doesn't unsettle the car so much right before the moment of braking.
Overall, your car-control seems to be good enough for low 1.01 laps, but you just need a little more smoothness and perhaps a more oversteery set - the rest should follow
