Fortune tellers, prophets, spiritual mediums and all the likes are never perfectly right. They are considered to be when people fill in the blanks and MAKE it true.
"There is a dead man standing next to you, he is bald and around 50 years old"
- "Oh, my uncle Joe was bald and he died at around 50! It MUST be Joe! that's amazing!"
"Yes! It's Joe... Joe says he's proud of you!"
"An earthquake will hit in Rome on the 11th in 2011!"
- "Oh wow, it hit in Southern Spain so he must've meant that! Amazing!"
You have a piece of text from an unknown source, which from the looks of it shares your viewpoints, and this text refers to a CBS report (without providing a source) and sort of tries to tell what's in the report, but in an obviously terribly slanted way.
It's like me quoting you, and then saying you said (from your first line) "Our freedom will be kept safe!"
You can take literally any source on any subject, and subsequently write an article to make that source sound negative. Some people have it down to an art.
I have a reasonable (non-conspiracy) theory about the whole situation which makes sense.
The foundation of my theory is that they did go into a compound in Pakistan and killed Bin Laden, but are being deliberately unclear about the details in order to prevent public and political backlash, not to mention a negative strategical position towards the terrorist groups.
What probably happened is that they went in, killed the guards and captured Bin Laden. It's likely they did not get to him before he was aware of their presence, but also not likely that the situation lasted over 40 minutes as reported. If they had gotten the order to shoot-to-kill in combination with the knowledge that Bin Laden was aware of their presence, they wouldn't have gotten a headshot on him. With the women running around in the room and the chaos of a situation where the element of surprise had been lost they would've just gone for 3 shots centre mass. So they must've either shot him in the chest, or captured him alive. This is pure speculation of course, but I guess that's part of most theories.
If they captured him alive, but the picture alledgedly shows a gruesome headwound, we can assume that he was executed on the spot. This is confirmed by one of his daughters in some news reports. This also therefore takes away some of the speculation of the theory mentioned.
Why executed, and why not captured alive and put to trial?
Well, you know that if you capture the head of a terrorist organisation which is not dependant on that person to lead them (as is likely with terrorist organisations) you will get tangled up in a situation where every known and unknown terrorist will happily sacrifice their lives in order to get Bin Laden back. You'd have hostage situations in schools, hotels, embassies, anywhere shocking. Then you'd have the kidnapping of westerlings and the public execution of them; one at a time until the US releases Bin Laden. This would not stop, and would be pretty bad publicity for Obama.
Back in the days they did capture Hussein, but this was a completely different situation because he was the leader of a country: a countries whose military got utterly crushed and would not be able to retaliate. Support for Hussein was also quite low, and there was no real risk of such a situation, particularly because he was tried and hung in his own country.
So, they shot him (Bin Laden) in the face. Probably in front of the kiddies and wives. A picture of his dead body would confirm this to any person familiar with gunshot wounds I guess. I'm not an expert, but a bullet at point blank probably causes a different mess than a bullet fired 5-15 meters away.
Imagine the backlash of the public and radical terrorist organisations if it becomes clear that Bin Laden was executed on the spot. Human rights groups, political parties, public demonstrations. More bad publicity for Obama. The media and public will never understand just how much easier and clear-of-consequence it is to kill a man than to let him live. Also remember that the US has clearly learned a lot from their campaigns in muslim countries: mentioning that he got buried according to islamic requirements is another attempt to lessened the uproar.
So in short: their solution was simple. They shot him, they have DNA proof that it was him and they know that the majority of people will believe the news and cause a rise in popularity for Obama. Pictures would show an executed man and cause a backlash so they're kept from the public. It's not a perfect win-win situation for Obama, but it's definitely the optimal solution if what I have been pondering is true.
I always ran the Mustang with baseline or baseline with soft front arb. I could always get within 0.5s of the wr with that set, but it would get quite understeery near the end of races.
This was in its first season though, so things will have changed a bit.
The difference is... and this somehow never pops up in one of these "Alcohol is a million time worse for society than other drugs" arguments: I can enjoy 1 or 2 beers with a movie or friends and have a good time. On the other hand, you never see people take 1/12th of an xtc pill, or a sprinkle of cocaine, or any other amount of drugs that causes an insignificant effect.
I'm not going to jump into any camp because I believe that alcohol does cause a shitload of problems, but the difference is that you don't have to get shitfaced every time you have a drink, whereas drugs are more of an on/off switch in their effect.
There is a program, I don't quite recall the name, which records your cpu usage etc. After a spike you could tab out and see if there is anything unusual going on. I had a similar problem in LFS once and it turned out to be a certain program going ballistic every 5 minutes or so and using up 100% cpu power. If you google for a cpu logger or something similar I'm sure you'll find a program that does the trick.
I've had my license for about 5 months now, and generally don't drive much.
I can't say I really enjoy driving unless the roads are empty; driving is just a practical thing, and other people on the road are just a hindrance. I also don't speed or run lights, or get any other racing habits out for that matter. It's just that driving =/= racing to me, so I get into the car with a different mindset altogether. A road is made for driving on, and a track is made for racing on. I don't take a crap on the sidewalk either, since I have a perfectly fine toilet for that. It's just a matter of knowing what to do, and where.
Using a phone or drinking is also a no-no for me. I don't drive after drinking even 1 alcoholic beverage. It's just a matter of responsibility, not just for my own safety but of other road users and my passengers.
Speeding is generally a pointless practice on the shorter stretches I drive. I'll estimate that with all the traffic lights and crossroads it would save me seconds over minutes if I just happen to catch a lucky green light. I'd rather just chill out and listen to the radio.

2 quick tips from someone who has read his fair share of marketing books and has attended a whole bunch of communication conferences
- Hire or otherwise get help of a good proofreader. If there are any mistakes in your spelling or grammar users will be gone in a big hurry. An issue forms instantly in the mind of any potential customer when they see poor use of language on a website, and that issue is untrustworthiness. If you're looking to store files on a server you will generally choose to avoid shady sites, and people immediately associate poor use of language as shady. There's a whole backdrop of psychology here, but the bottom line is: clean sentences and spelling = exponentially more customers.
- Think about who your target group is and how it affects your business strategy. Right now it looks to me like you're trying to hook people who know about the concept of file sharing as you're presenting it (with a virtual desktop and clouds and all sorts of other technicalities) I think you're trying to hook people already in the knowledge, because I had to read through everything twice before I knew what you were selling. This is alright if you have a plan for attracting those particular customers with (for example) an *aggressive pricing strategy, but if you're looking for a wider market you need to explain the concept more clearly. Something in the region of 80% of potential customers will leave if they do not understand your business concept within the first 10-15 seconds of arriving at your site.
* This ties in with the first tip. Low prices + shady language = massive scam alert for most sensible people. Look at the competition and don't deviate too much from their prices. Pricing affects much, much more than just the money that customers will spend. Once again, big psychological background, but to put it simply: high prices attract other customers (and not just the ones with more money!) than lower prices. Entire books have been dedicated on the subject. Red Bull is an interesting case study for this subject. (and on the subject on first companies nearly always claiming market leadership even after many years)
For gamers that experienced the 8-bit era this movie could be a treat.
I do say could, because in any case I can say in confidence that it will be the weirdest movie you will have ever seen. At the very least, you will wonder at least 10 times or so what in earth you are watching, as the movie is just completely bonkers yet strangely likeable.
It's basically just under two hours of crazy scene swaps, incredibly creative comic-book like visuals that support the audio effects, an incredible amount of obvious and not-so-obvious gaming references and crazy boss-battle fighting scenes that make the Matrix look lame.
I have never been so confused yet entertained in my life, but I think this movie requires a certain amount of 'crazy mind' to appreciate.
I started building the town hall, but won't have much time to play in the weekend as I won't be at home. There is a large basement area under the main building which needs quite a large amount of various rooms. Does anyone have any ideas what to fill it with? Maybe a library, and that's where my creativity ends, so help is appreciated
