It looks incredibly sexy in the video, and it gives me good hope that they've moved the game forward both in terms of content as well as physics. I can't wait for it really, just as I can't wait for GT5. I'm sure I'll be spending quite some time with both.
Seriously... GT5 being released on anything other than a Playstation is only slightly less likely than a Mario or Zelda game appearing on anything other than a Nintendo system. (hurr durr Zelda CD-i, I know, don't go there ;p)
It's just not the same as other exclusives going multi-platform, since Polyphony is a subsidiary of Sony.
Actually, unfortunately other families do age as you play with a family in the same town. When I was playing with my second 'family' I was quite shocked to see my first guy walk past as an old man, and eventually he apparantly adopted a daughter and sort of died off. That's the cool part though, sims seem to have quite a strong urge to reproduce, or leave some other young sim in their footsteps, so the town doesn't die out after a couple of generations. There are quite some options to reduce or even disabling aging in the game though, so there's no lack of control in that department.
I must be the most horribly boring sims-player in the world though. I just keep the speed at x3 and only slow it to queue up short actions, then I powergrind skills, careers, families and offspring in a feeble attempt to 'beat' an unbeatable game
My last guy (force-bred to be a boy and he had his mother quite specifically selected, basically) had max logic, writing and painting before reaching the young adult stage, and 100% of the time he was on the honor roll throughout all phases of school. His dad made 150.000 per week in book royalties at the peak of his career, so that's a good start for building an evil mansion :>
It's fully scripted over here. How do I know? I've had the 100% exact same conversation with my barber about 4-5 times now. They just don't remember me and ask the same goddamn things every single time. I'll have to go again soon, I just can't wait!
If I wanted to have a pissing contest I would have posted the picture instead of making the statement, I was just making a light-hearted poke at Bose for posting a giant picture
Is that 256mp hubble image a picture of the ultra deep field by the way? I'd like to see it for purposes other than a pissing contest
I'm inclined to agree. I'm nor sure whether or not it's racist, or whether the guy had racist intentions or not, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that a guy looking like that would get the absolute shit kicked out of him if he approached a group of black people here.
The way to break the taboo of race and racism isn't to mock it imo, you have to let it go altogether...
I love the SRF really, but the lack of tracks still bugs me. Mind you, I love Jefferson and Laguna, but I'd also love some Infineon
Like Linsen I'm A-licenced though, so there's really no need for me to race up, or even, or whatever. The Mazda, Radical and DP are all a bit dull to me, and the racing is just less fun. On the oval side... I just don't commit to anything, but race whatever seems fun
There are very harsh consequences for systematically cheating like this though
One protest you might survive, but when you start making a name for yourself with such actions you'll get the banstick quite quickly, so it's not really an option.
Also, if you're able to get close enough to the leader to nudge them off, you should be more than capable of overtaking them, or not?
It's just a theoretical statement: try winning a race with more than 1 spin
I just made that statement to make it clear to some people that iRating and SR are not related - you can't lose iRating for crashing, and you can't lose safety rating for finishing in a poor position.
SR will never stop me from racing people, fear of being put out of the race maybe, but SR I couldn't care less about. I know that in normal conditions I won't lose SR due to personal incidents, so everything else is just part of racing
If you're terrified of racing hard because you might lose SR, then you should rethink your strategy
The SR system doesn't put blame on anyone; everyone involved gets incident points and that's the end of it.
If after 200 races you're still at 8 incidents per race or whatever, then it's absolutely impossible to blame others for that, because if you're a clean racer, most of your races will be clean.
