I listen to music when I am in a not-so-important race, so that's basically everything except the STCC races :-D
Mind you, even without music I'm slow, so heh ^_^
Right I made my attempts, I reckon I have a legal 4 and a legal 5 in there, currently waiting for the UKCT FTP server to behave itself, then I'll get it uploaded.
[EDIT]I sound like a total plonker in the video...and look like one too :P[/EDIT]
RIP Paul, as an avid snooker fan I have been following his battle against cancer since it started. How a man can undergo chemotherapy and still play snooker on the world stage amazes me. A truly remarkable man if there ever was one, he showed dedication in everything he did.
He was also a citizen of my home city, Leeds. I am sure that many other people that live here will feel the city has lost a great man.
Paul, may you enjoy the great snooker hall in the sky, I think you may just enjoy it
It seems MS still haven't sorted the DirectSound problems in Vista yet...just upgraded to RC2 (which just happened to remove the unlocked status from LFS, stoopid build numbers), and the pops and crackles described by everyone else on Vista are still there in U22.
Scawen, I don't think the problem truely lies in LFS's sound system...but in MS's current (rather buggy) DirectSound implementation. It has been like this since Beta 2, and I hope that they sort it before Vista gets released.
EDIT: With sound blocks set to 4 the problem seems to be solved, and the echo bug doesn't appear to be happening for me. No sound lag to be heard, strangely enough.

The upload is a little crappy, but I don't really need it to be any better, all I really do on the connection is download ISO files of Vista and play LFS :P
The pops are pretty much constant, I hear the car for about 3/4 of a second, then there'll be a few pops, then the car for 3/4 of a second again. It's bearable, but an annoyance.
There is still a slight bit of audio distortion on my Vista installation under U21, a few pops and crackles, and other issues related to the sound lag setting in U20 and backwards.
Scawen, did you hardcode the Sound lag at a particular value? Because that will most likely cause problems. Each person's system requireds a different sound lag value under Vista, for example mine needed to be at 0.26s, while one of my friends had to have theirs at nearer 0.4s
