Just WOW. Who the hell are these guys? Do they care about simulating stuff or are they in for the free beer or what? I'm tempted to think that statement was a bad joke from a frustrated developer or something...Oh well.
Sets the value for the dynamic change of "Level of Detail". Zero means no, and one is full dynamic LOD reduction. This makes the Level of Detail change dynamically depending on how many cars are visible and on your current framerate. Use higher values if you experience slowdowns when multiple cars are visible.
Just had 2 laps around Lime Rock and I can say it feels GREAT! Fine job some1 and Niels, good to have something worth driving while anticipating the next patch.
Have you got the test patches still? If you haven't got a better idea try to reproduce this behaviour in the W9 patch and a few patches after that. I too have experienced some freezing in multiplayer with the X patch. Sometimes the action halts for 20 secs of so but the chat seems to be usually unaffected.
I had a look at the race.spr. Good throttle control and cool shifting. You seem to know the basics of car control and vehicle handling pretty well! Your racing lines slow you down the most but I can see you´ll get a whole lot faster in just a few weeks time.
I have tried the tip to use SoftTH with a dual-screen setup, by commenting out the appropriate monitor device ID, thus letting me have the FOV centre back in the middle of the primary screen (instead of being where the two monitors meet) - this has worked great.
The large British error looked for a way out, received to content and did not note that the impulse ran. The error fought. The change, remained the same. She could not adapt, therefore she could not survive, something had to give. The people take a sloping dia. into the sense of cloudy. Into the verflixten recesses of their understanding.
