Personally, I included what is included for the main forum view.

its about time that we got a server browser in game, or a favourites list. Or at LEAST 'last 10 ips' or 'save ip to list'.

Quote from Victor :Do you always ask people first and then google it yourself?

ha, no. its just a lot of the information that I was finding regarding the password hash contradicted the others many many times. Knowing that you had done it, I figured I would ask here in the hope of some help

Quote from Dygear :Do you have a vB license? Just read the source code for the login page, and follow that around, it should tell you what you need to do as far as SQL querys.

yeah I do have a licence for it, owned licence for v4.

Ended up doing a bit more googling and found a few snippets to produce this.

<?php
  $newuser
=& datamanager_init('User'$vbulletinERRTYPE_ARRAY);

$newuser->set('username'$username);

$newuser->set('email'$email);

$newuser->set('password'$password);

$newuser->set('usergroupid'2);

  if (
count($newuser->errors)>0) {

// handle the error (duplicate username, duplicate email)

} else {

// user created

$newuserid $newuser->save();
  }
?>

Inserting users into V-Bulletin database

Hey guys,

My plan is having it so that you use the command, '!forum email password' in the game server, and it will create the user an account on the forum using their LFS Username as the account username in the forums (vbulletin).

I have not yet looked into it, but does anybody know as to what encryption the password uses or anything?

I am guessing this would be a question for Victor seeing as he has linked the LFSW accounts to the forum here.

Thanks,
Mark

Quote from Scawen :At first glance it sounds like your computer's timer runs at a strange speed - too fast or too slow.

I'm not sure if it would be affected it but does your time clock keep good time? LFS can deal with a certain amount of clock speed variation between host and guests but if time on your computer is too far different then it will not work.

it was happening a LOT on my old server box, especially with south america and aussie land.

Once we switched to a more powerful server (in the same D/C) the issues dissolved.

Could the servers clock be the interference also?

I could be being real dumb, but I cannot get drift scores to work?

Want nothing else but that. Kinda new to the whole Lapper scene.

awfully, do /pit_all on a full cruise server, and watch the insanity

Check if host is connected

Hey,

Is there a built in routine to check if a hostID is currently connected and has the ability to send packets?

Thanks,
Mark

I think I also wrote a thread asking for them to be given their own button space, but it got rejected saying use ya own IDs.

Which is why I then requested lfsMail to have a config file. also got rejected.

never used to. as I couldn't run LFSMail and the LTC app at the same time - it would remove parts of the LTC interface on screen when it showed the LFSMails interface. There is a thread somewhere where I was asking for customIDs for the LFSMail app, so I could write the IDs around LTCs IDs

start PRISM with your app using button ids (1-10 for instance), then start LFS Mail (if still compatable) which also uses those same buttons.
Referral Scheme

I think a referral system for licence purchases would be a good idea. Giving us something back in return.

LFSW Credit per licence referral, or something! (only give the credit to someone with a licence, or only allow them to spend it once they have the licence themselves).
