You should read Kaarina Suvanto's texts about subtitling, here and here (both in Finnish only, sorry). I read those couple years ago, while reading humorous subtitling errors (Kielikukkasia). After that I've come to understand and accept occasional errors and not knowing some fringe subject. They don't always have the original language subtitle or script with the program, then they have to do it by ear, which makes translating exponentially harder. Also the deadlines they have occasionally, don't allow for perfect and flawless work...

On the other hand, tpyos any spellchecker could find do annoy me.

I wish all GFs would be like that, when they're virgin they're all clean and civilized and dirtier and dirtier when they get older

Quite possibly the greatest thing ever seen. Macbook Pro running without a hard drive or a top case. Was booted by shorting out 2 wires (put in by Apple for techs to be able to do just this.. start without the top case). Being booted from the Firewire drive that's connected and it's running without a battery.

You really need to do all that to remove a battery and harddrive from a mac?!

"high resolution" = "korkea resoluutio" Since these words are already used in the settings for high and low resolution why not stick with them. So it would become "Korkearesoluutiosten tekstuurien lataus"

Any wiser thoughts anyone?

I've changed it to "LFS World -tilillä ei tarpeeksi rahaa tarkoille tekstuureille". That's not perfect, but there's only 63 characters in that field...

Nitpick: arvo translates to "value". But arvoa translates "something is of/has value" tjsp...
