This last race is not displayed in LFSWORLD online races history. Is there a bug in the system? I searched also online history for several racers that joined the race, didnt find any data for them either. I mean if the system doesnt handle full grids or smthing?
BTW the next race will start very fun when 40 cars enter the first turns of FE2R...will we have some policy about cutting on grass there?
my suggestion for preventing t1 chaos: make custom grid and put long distances between grid slots. That way also the qualifying will have more importance.
I never planned to buy wheel so when I accidentally bought one (since it was on sale very near and very cheap) I was too lazy to modify my computer table/chair explaining myself "i won't do this so serious" so I have been adapted myself to drive in a quite weird posture
imo 2wks ban is too much, but ofc revenge crashes no good idea.
About Gordon's move I have to say: I hate that kind of moves: when you enter a very tight corner from a very unnatural line that you would never use seriously, but in this case you do it just to put your nose in front of the car that is following the natural raceline. Nobody would do that IRL on track.
That phenomenon can be seen very often in South City races in t1 (or is it t2?) after the start there is always one genius who decides to follow the very inner line of the track until the apex, causing massive accident in the tight left.
Then Gordon in addition honked wich must have been amplified the provocation. If instead of honking he would have post a "sorry" the consequenses would have been different I think
btw ikomap who had some fun nickname, wondered why he was put in the back of the grid. I dont know, but I guess he wasnt on the track (spectating?) while the race started...that could be the answer?
I think there was at least one avoidable accident: the ramming of Ikomap into LucianLS pushing him 180deg + having more consequenses (1st lap, 1:38). The crash between Astley and Joan on lap3 was also interesting.
Here is my incar cam that I recorded during the race. I'll upload later a tv broadcast vid.
A second hand computer with double performance compared to yours, would cost some 20-30$. Thats almost sounds like a troll, that someone installs LFS into a 15year old PC and asks here tips for making it work.
But you were asking if older version of LFS could help. The answer is YES. Because the latest LFS version has remastered Blackwood wich eats much more hw resources than the previous version. So my advice is, install previous version of LFS, or even better, install a much more older version: https://www.lfs.net/archive
Such a shame no more ppl joined the event, wich was held on maybe the most interesting layout of Rockingham. Nevermind, it was good for me, my first top5 position in RTFR
t does not let me install the game, I download the setup and I open it until the installation arrives and it tells me to write the file and so it gives me the option to retry that it does not work and omit that file or cancel the installation, and if I omit the same thing happens to me with all the other remaining files
I think the problem is not in LFS but your computer. Probably bad hard disk?
