ooops! Its btw disturbing how easily the indexes go wrong in custom grids while editing. Watching the start from mpr, Rik said "huh, im not in pole" just before green lights. Even looks like he delayed his start.
Is this because the lack of bumps, or because difference in FFB? Do you feel the bumps at Rockingham oval T3, or Blackwood GP at braking of long straight? Those are the latest tracks in LFS...
As long the sim is used, it is worth to exist The simracing scene is so widespread nowadays, we can't get back good old days even 20 new cars and 10 new tracks would be introduced in next update along physics and graphics. No use to rationalize which sim is the best. Every sim has its place. I love the leaderboard hotlapping with ghost opponents in Raceroom, I love the casual driving around Nordschleife with different road cars in AC, I love to join demo races and leagues in LFS and meet & chat friends, I love to experience exotic and beautiful tracks with the fantastic Caterham in AMS, I love to test & learn faster race cars and open wheels in rFactor2 because of its physics. I don't see any point to put one sim over another or vice versa. I think even GT Legends has very good and active community still, even the official lobby was put down some years ago.
Just own large hard drive enough to own all those great sims
What about a compromise solution: Insim script that reads user's country from lfsworld and do the filtering. This of course means, that user with hidden stats would be rejected also.
Outdated physics were the only reason why it wasn't released, and I think its quite obvious new physics will be in 0.7. Anyway good catch, that logo kinda makes it 99.9% sure
Speechless again. Thanks Degats for comparison photos. I wasn't surprised that these remaining track will take longer to update. But what a version we will have when its finally ready!
Its also interesting to see the 0.5-0.6 comparison photos posted by numbazZ. Actually they make 0.6 version look awesome
This. And in LFS you almost always find those lovely gti demo servers where is some nice activity.
I like pretty much RaceRoom, but its loading times are from another planet, you can order pizza while you wait the game starting, and you have time to eat that pizza while you wait your logging into a public server. Just for realize you joined a server full of crashers (in RRE you can't peek inside a server to see who is there and which cars are on track).
In AC, you need to love GT2/3 cars if you want to have a quick race anytime. And you need to love those real world tracks that are mostly way more boring than a well designed fantasy track. Most races running at Monza or Spa or A1 Ring. (Okay Spa is not bad, just that stupid bus-stop chicane, otherwise 10/10)
In Automobilista the multiplayer joining ritual is another story, can't describe in words. And no need, since most, oh sorry, *all* servers are pretty empty. Such a shame since this sim has the most interesting tracks.
In rF2 the same story, can't describe in words, let's just say its not really user friendly, actually it is the opposite. But at least they are working on new user interface.
mybad for screenshots. the chat i printscreened while driving and I missed his logging, the username shot I took later from the MPR. Here is the full chat chat from mpr, where you see his logging with username+playername
also mpr attached, the episode is almost at the end of mpr xD
I can confirm I reproduced this. The key point is to re-enter the hotlap mode with setup/track already selected before. For me this happens also with BL3/BL3R (but not with BL3X/Y)
do a search on this forum, its discussed in several threads, though what I remember there was no clear answer to that. Is you internet connection stable? Happens only in multiplayer?
