Would be nice to have a feature wich tells banned user the reason for banning and the lenght of the ban (would happen when he tries to connect server where is ban).

Forgot while watching replay, that it was the first race where implemented additional mass for top3 of previous event. So Dzi, Fast and Celeritas were running handicapped (30kg,23,15). Imo this information would be nice and important to see in race results page as one column in the results grid.

For example Autocross Layouts section needs not to be accessible for demo users. Now it seems that people cracking LFS and downloading layouts from here without paying the license

Did you test it?

Wow, missed this one but watched replay and guys...this was the most exciting ever race I have seen on GTi Thursdays. Just epic battles with amazing talent drivers. I watch rather this stuff than some boring f1 races from TV Big grin Would be great if someone skilled videomaker could create a top-moments vid from this (it would become almost same lenght as the full race)

To give some perspective, I have currently the basic GTX 1050 with 2GB, not the Ti version.

My GeForce Experience application suggests for Assetto Corsa game following settings:
Anisotropic filtering x16
Anti aliasing x4
World Detail: High
Shadow resolution: High
Full screen rendering:yes
(i have one monitor, screen res 1920x1200)

With these settings the graphic lags heavily (though I had FPS limited to 46). I changed most settings one level lower:
Anisotropic filtering x8
Anti aliasing x2
World Detail: Medium
Shadow resolution: Medium
Full screen rendering:yes

Now the game is playable but at the limit, but GPU is still working at 96% while the cars are just standing in the grid. I think PC2 uses more graph resources than AC. Im not an expert on this area but just to give my experience on that subject (my CPU is i5-4460)

The user benchmark page claims Ti version is approx 13% faster than basic GTX1050, imo 13% is not much?

Quote from Mikus1212 :Bit faster and 2x more expensive Big grin I got PALIT GTX 1050Ti StormX and its great.

I wasn't saying GTX680 is good choice (its not; old generation, generates much heat and uses much current), I just meant that according to specs, 1050Ti is a bit under the minimum requirements for PC2.

Thanks for the event!

I would award MrSuper with title "best blocker of the race". He was lapping 1:30 and managed to keep two cars behind him during 4 laps.

Maybe also most dangerous driver (late braking into Adam on lap1 sector2, diving into zonda on lap2 sector3 plus all his own mistakes which required lot of attention from other drivers.

Concrete blocking was happening at least on lap3 sector 1 while he changed several times his line on the straight, according to what he saw me doing in mirrors.

My contact wich I was warned for (lap4 sector3 6:14), was a result of one of his several mistakes where he drives wide in the curve but then defend his place by heavily braking and turning back into driving line with very low speed - if you look his driving in that situation, he took very unnatural line just for blocking my passing while he run wide.

Nothing new. If admins are awake, they will ban speed-hack users. Depending on what server you use, you may contact admins via their web page and send race replay including cheat user.

If you see it happening on MRc servers, you can report cheaters here
http://masterracecar.forumactif.com/f8-crash-hack-reports
As you know, you can save replays by pressing "2" and they will be stored in your lfs/data/mpr folder.

First just make sure its a speed hack. Notice that one can be faster than you with better exit speed + draft.

I would love to see that bowl sitting just as a monument in big events on ordinal tracks. It would be just spectacular

PC2 requirements for GPU are "minimum = GTX680" (I think 680 is little bit faster than 1050 Ti), however here someone is running PC2 with 1050Ti

Quote from Mate2169 :well -1 from me when there is demo server and there are 15 pll and race is full it can get anoying to wait till race is not full... imagine it with 20 like ppl it will not work probably and the chat will be nearly unreadable cause "less skilled people" will spam "race is full lemme join"; "alt+f4 = boost"; "shift+s to get 2 000 €" (case of cruise servers); "/entry to join"

good points, maybe was just crappy suggestion written after a session at demo server during the night Big grin

True, maybe my understanding of current prices is not up-to date. If adding RAM later is easy for murray (instructions can be found in youtube for example), may be good idea to start with 8GB and save in costs. Adding another 8GB later when really needed is not big task.

This is quite handy place to make performance comparison between different CPU or GPU
http://gpu.userbenchmark.com

Quote from ymeshulin :Here's a system I've compiled for you. You might want to adjust the storage configuration to better suit your actual needs. The GPU is enough for any game at 1080p, will be able to push up to 120FPS at that resolution.

The best bit about the Ryzen platform is that it will be supported until 2020, so if you want a stronger CPU later, you just swap them.

Was bit surprized seeing GTX1050 suggested but okay, its the TI model, bit better performance (twin cam Big grin) But what about power supply? Why 400W? Okay it can feed the GTX1050 but what about murray gets more hungry in next two years and wants to buy 1060 or 1070? Then also psu needs to be upgraded. I would take some 550w-600w psu, since the price difference is not big, isn't it?

Quote from AtomAnt :To keep wipers from freezing to the windshield alot of people raise them up. This tends to strecth the springs and make the wipers less effective, to avoid this just place a tennis ball under each wiper arm, raises them just enough to prevent sticking and keeps the springs in good shape.

Nice, I live in finland and never heard that tip. Interesting Smile

After watched replay, and the mess Nicolander caused in first corners, I say my opinion that he hasn't enough experience to join such races.

I'm also very confused about motivation of Lefteris4 - he joins the event late, starts from pits, does couple on laps, and then leaves his car in the wall. Seeing that car in the wall every lap was distracting - I was thinking every lap when that guy take that car and makes something silly with it.

Quote from Kid222 :That was some good stuff, thanks to 9397, who kept me on the alert, while i managed 70+ temperatures on the right front.

Yes Kid, that was quite a challenge to chase you, I pushed more and more every lap, but you did also Big grin

16GB RAM will sure last for years, actually I have currently 8GB and doing well, but imo its quite cheap and in future everything needs more RAM.

Take into account that the 350W psu is not able to feed that GTX1060, you need at least 450-500w power supply
