This was disappointing to drive. Car is too light for only 265 rear tires and 225 front. Maybe bump weight to around 2800 Lbs and 235/40R18 front and 265/35R18 rear. Engine tuning needs more work. I think a higher red line would benefit 8,000rpms.
Wow this cool never heard of this engine before. You if you got a video so I can match the sound you want from it.
I also need the red line I only see the peak HP and the peak torque.
I can make flat plane crank but I can’t match that weight LFS editor won’t allow me change weight
And there’s no different use of materials yet. I’ve requested this in mod editor suggestions, but we will see if the Developers add it
Looking forward to see what this beast would sound like and gets started working on it
Message me directly with extra information please I don’t want to blow up the feed with requests… I know you can’t upload files in message though
Thanks for finding those specs for him I was looking for them too! I agree maybe a hard top “configuration” like the LX models have top or no top. And maybe out the front lip just to make it look a little better the factory R style lip. And for steering wheel yes please use either the factory nardo or the mini wheel not the airbag pillow steering wheel lol.
Can we please allow engine weight adjustments on the mod system please. I’ve been trying to remake engines from original specs and I can’t. Example an LS3 engine weights 211KG and I put the engine size specs and everything and it automatically sets it to 300KG. This is an all aluminum block engine so it’s lighter then most V8. Also working on old 1920-1930s engines and they are supposed to be lighter and still not within spec.
One thing about this Mod and other bigger mods coming I don’t know if you know yet, but driver’s names over cars don’t compensate for vehicle size. Maybe there is a way so the moder can adjust position of driver’s name or where the game automatically recognizes the height and moves the name according to size of vehicle.
It is based on the Type 59 race car just no super charger. Most 1930s Grand Prix regulations required a super charger, none lfs yet... Paired with a 4speed long gears. Let me Know if you want any changes
Have you considered maybe like a Honda J series swap instead those motors are light and without boost they can make 400 Hp and they range from a 3.0, 3.2, 3.5, 3.7L and they can rev up to 8,000 rpms, but they make good torque and great HP built or maybe the Alfa 155 v6 Ti. https://youtu.be/WHjs-pcyg8Q
