Quote from LOXISLOXIS :Hello guys when will the new autocross version be released?

While this is the incorrect thread to be asking that question, the answer is: No one knows for sure. For discussions related to the new Autocross version, please see: https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/92883-Graphics-Progress-Report%3A-Autocross

I was thinking the same about whether any permission was sought to bundle and publish the snap package.

Quote from Cote Dazur :I could not find a LTH setting, I drive in VR and this is very important to VR driver.
Please don't bother answering if you are not a VR driver or just to say you don't need LTH.

The VR in LFS is quite superb, great FPS, the real mirrors are outstanding, the new shader are very nice, all that is missing now is LTH.

Is there a workaround?

I'm a VR driver and I'm pretty sure LTH would make me quite ill. Forbin is right, your frame of reference should be locked to the car, not the outside world and so such a feature is not needed, or even wanted in my case.

Was anyone else silently wishing an upgraded Autocross would have a disused runway on it somewhere? Big grin

I like the changes to Autocross and I'm interested to see how much of it is actually drivable.

I won't be able to make it again unfortunately. This year is your year Jared.

Do you have an LFS cookie cutter? 3D printed? Big grin

Happy Xmas Troy!

This is a known issue, one that irritates me too: https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/91904-VR-graphics-issues

Put simply, it's believed to be down to LFS' physics refresh rate (100Hz) getting out of sync with VR headsets @90Hz.

Hi Gab, nice collection you have there, are these still for sale? If so, what sort of condition are they all in and how far are you willing to ship them?

Damn, that's fortunate. Well done! So how'd it go with the organisers, were they impressed enough to retain you do you think?

Quote from gu3st :That's gonna be a fun/dangerous pitlane as the ideal line to enter pits seems to be treating that corner more like a chicane and cutting across the racing line to enter.

I can't wait Big grin

This is what I've been thinking. Comedy is tragedy plus time.

Also, the pitlane is custom, which might explain your trouble visualizing it.

Quote from gu3st :Can someone take a short video of a lap of the round 1 layout. I'm not at my computer for a few days and I'm having an issue visualizing the layout with the pit lane.

I have one uploading, it'll be here when it's done: https://youtu.be/1dATt5iI_Cs

When I entered, I saw myself having time to practice and at least being able to attend every round. Sadly I couldn't put in nearly as much effort as I wanted to into this series. The racing at the front was great nonetheless, just unfortunate that I've been so busy of late.

Grats to Nico and Botsi. Hopefully I'll be more competitive next time. Thanks for organising, Rony!

Well done Niko. Sorry I couldn't fight you for the second step in the end, maybe we can resume next year.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make today's race as I've just moved house this weekend and haven't yet set my rig up. Shame, because I was hoping to retain my overall podium.

Anyway, have fun and good luck!

Just wondering does Aston gets a 40 grid?

It always had a 40 car grid no?

Quote from Scawen :Thanks for the comparisons!

I'm planning to make a converter for old layouts, that simply adds two metres height when loading. Clearly that won't work everywhere but it should mean that old layouts can be repaired relatively easily.

That'll be handy and will save many of us a heap of time! Thumbs up

It isn't until you see the comparisons that you appreciate the amount of work that's gone in...
