This thread came at a good time. I'm also considering getting a 49" monitor because I would like the option to use a monitor setup from time to time, rather than having to use VR, even for casual racing sessions. I do not get on well with traditional multi-monotor setups, so I'm interested in trying an extra-wide. It's a big expense so I'm interested to get opinions from people who have used them. Rony, nacim, how do you get on with yours?

AFAIK it'll be the Boothy Chicane layout, so the FXR will not be at as much of a disadvantage. It'll still be the slowest car though with that BoP.

I don't mind it myself, but I know some other team-based sim racing series that will allow single-driver entries, but they just aren't classified. Team events should be just that, a team effort, not a solo effort.

Possible that single-driver entries could be a thing, but not counted in the results?

The point of 0.5F2 is that the LX8 exists in this version already though, without needing to shoehorn it into a 'more stable patch'.

Probably the latter. The car is fairly unrefined but it's good to have a version of the game available with older layout versions, and the ability to use them online from time to time.

Still not working for me either.

Coincidentally, I also fancied trying the old Kyoto in 0.5F2 2 days ago and wasn't able to connect to the master server. I thought the master server had been turned off intentionally, so paid it no mind.
