I have a question. Seen as name and shame isnt allowed on this forum. If I make a website, with all the replays I find of the suspected hackers and name them on there, but give the replay to download aswell. Then put a link to it in my sig, Is that wrong?

Rob, Its not easy atall. You cant just moniter top speed, Say for example they go on a track like aston with fast straights. That can be fast speed. Then they goto a track like South City. They will have complety different top speeds. There is no way ever you will get the same top speed on SO then on Aston. Acceleration is a partial factor, but again, Isnt easy. If they go down a hill, They will change again. It will be hard to make a solid app that doesnt get the wrong people and yet, still catchs cheaters.

All these hacks do, Is find some memory values and change them. Its a very simple process really. They are not changing the code, Well not really. They are just editing the result of it in memory at runtime. I really wouldnt be able to say if memory editing is illigal or not.

Im sure there is some kinda agreement when you download the game, You will not crack/hack it. Something along them lines anyway..

Maybe the devs could change the EULA, Or add something. People could argue that they bought the game and they can do what they want. Thats ok, Within reason. Cheating is not acceptable.

Btw, I have to say -1 to this. I have never looked at one add in lfs. Nor have they ever caught my eye. LFS is ment to be about driving, I dont pay attention to whats around me. Therefor I deem this useless.

You know, I dont see how deisel is better. My car can take £30 MAX petrol. It will do, On average 350 miles per tank. That said, Deisels reward you when it comes to tax and insurance. GAH!
