Yeah everybody starts in the demo and providing place for good races for them can only be good. No doubt most of them will get their licences sooner or later once they are hooked on the great online racing in LFS. Here in Serbia its like that with many new people racing in demo for now and organizing races. I was also late to get my licence back in the days cause racing in demo was good. But eventually people would want more than one track and car and by that time LFS just gets under their skin and there is no escaping.

Also its much easier to learn one track and be good there than 744 combinations in S2 to start with. So we also get already experienced racers new to S2 this way.

Yep, already suggested but reminder is good. I seems like pretty easy to do and it would make searching for server much easier.

Wow I'm impressed. Excellent choice of music, hairy passes, funny crashes and lots more fun. Just another day in the life of LFS hehe. Very enjoyable to watch.

It reminds me a bit of the great old (very old) movie "The ZONE".

Quote from Misko :But... only after watcing it the 3rd time I noticed you all drive on the right side in the English town of South City and measure speed in kph.

Ah sorry, silly me, its alright. It must have been the Škoda that made me forgot what happened before.

Quote from M.Mos :Best would be a RR car rather then a FR. So it would be similar unbalaced like the XFR and UFR .... Fiat 600 Abarth style

Oh yeah, that would be perfect! People from ex Yugoslavia (among others) would greatly apreciate the good old "national class" car. Small light slow rwd - much fun. Road version competitive with either the UF1 (more likely) or XFG, and race version for XFG+UFR.

Either that or previously suggested Clio V6 mid engine type of thing.

LFS World doesn't show demo hosts using P2 patch. Only all the other versions. I'm sure P2 demo hosts are there and running normally.

Excellent! I can only imagine how long and hard was that to organise, discipline and put together. But I guess it was loads of fun.

But... only after watcing it the 3rd time I noticed you all drive on the right side in the English town of South City and measure speed in kph.

Not great, trully fantastic. Excellent idea to present the story like that. It all looks like a dream, events from such a long period all happening at one place in a symbolic way. Great! And a tad creepy. I loved it.

Listen to Niki, he knows what he's talking about.

Although I got used to it, I too felt theres too much grip loss when tyres get dirty. And after experiencing it in S2 now it gives me creeps every time I see a car put a wheel on grass in any other sim/game or when watching real races. For example in last BTCC race at Croft cars were often taking a lot of dirt on all 4 tyres cutting the flat right kink before the very fast right corner, and I was concerened whether they would loose it there, but no, they just kept on racing hard and close as ever. Of course I don't know what drivers felt at those times but from the TV cam I couldn't see them slowing any bit at all. I know if that was LFS I would have to slow down quite a bit or slide off the track.

The section after back straight in Blackwood can be a real disaster if I put a left rear wheel on the dirt on the exit and then everybody else catches me through the next right S turn when I have to take it hmm 10-20kph or so slower. In GTi.
