How about a prequal for each race? I'm sure not everybody will be able to show up at every race, that has been the case in every league I've seen. So, if someone doesn't show up for whatever reason, next one on the hotlaps chart could take his place. This makes things complicated for organisers but I think its worth it. Otherwise we won't be having full grids of 23 people and those who dropped out before the season would be frustrated not to be able to race when there's a space for them after all.

So a system with joining each race on the website would be needed, and 23 with best hl times will be in the race, but with a possibility to pull back from next race before some deadline? Don't know how much difficult that would be to make.

I think I will go with RAC. Also don't know if FZ50 can be faster or not, I just prefer handling of the RAC. Current wr's don't seem to be driven to the max just yet, but it sure looks like these two cars are pretty evenly matched. This is gonna be fun.

That message means the host is either in S1 or S2 mode, and not in demo mode. Your mates should pick a server that is in demo mode so you could race with them.

I think "/unban name" does not work in demo (at least it didn't work when I tried before), and that you'd have to use ban editor. If your host is older version you'd have to close the host first before you can edit the bans.ban file with the ban editor, and then start the host again for changes to take effect. Handling of bans.ban file has been greatly improved only in patch U, so you better upgrade your demo host.

Aha, I see. Basically the reasoning for someone choosing LX4 would be something like this: "I don't like that 'overpowered' LX6, and I have no chance to get to higher pools anyway, so why not have fun racing with less incidents in lower pools in a car thats more managable and enjoyable." That might make sense, otherwise I don't see a reason for someone to willingly handicap himself/herself with a lower class car. Most of the people race in OLFSL just for a bit of fun of competing, so ok.

Well Honey its not a LFS problem. I just did what you said and of course, everything worked just as always. I assume you already told your firewall program that lfs.exe is updated and needs a permission to access the net. Thats the only thing we need to do with every new patch.

I love this riddle. It kinda made an adventure game out of LFS sites. Seems like patch won't be out until we solve it.

How about this: "who needs a minute in blackwood?" means that with new tyre and aero physics fixes lap times will be slower and we will NEVER go under a minute in Blackwood?

For good racing in demo I recommend you to join Masknet & Serbian Racing Team server. Even though most of the people that race there are licenced they still maintain the demo server for many of our friends, admins (SERT members) are there most of the time and its a nice place to be. People gather usually late in the evenings, so join and have a good time and good races.

If you want good XRT races in demo, well you better ask SERT guys about it, cause I can't remember now if Svemirko Joca still runs his server.

Please do lower the sound volume in LFS to something like 10 or 11 as going any higher produces digital clipping that you just described. If you need it louder don't touch LFS settings but instead amplify it at later stage, in windows mixer or your amplifier/headphones whatever.

Vibrations through a corner is indeed the first unusual thing I noticed, and I think that is what Stefano was describing few months ago about car driving directly on the track's poligons. Tracks aren't smoothed on purpose (physics engine handles bumps nicely so its been said) but driving on a track made up of little flat sections... hmm cetranly feels weird.

Of course it was popular tonight. Its not every day that Kamo gives 9.5 to a movie. And he was right like he always is! Filur's movie is just on another level to every other so far. Excellent!

Wow filur man, do you realise you just made the best LFS movie ever! I was totally surprised and impressed, you are clearly a pro. This is exactly what I imagined one movie about a league should be like, but noone until now was able to do it like this. Simply amazing!

Too bad casper pulled away and drove alone while we were battling for 2 place throughout the whole 2nd race! It was great. Very very difficult to pass in South City, also the first race was very exciting. Bit of rubbing and pushing here and there, I hope everything was fair. I'm sorry if I caused something in that slowest corner on lap 6 in 1st race but I was holding to the right as much as I could. I'll look at it again, perhaps there were few more centimeters I could use but at the time it didn't seem I made a mistake there.
