Well you can either just treat it as a game. face value, play it an hour or 2 a week and that's your lot.
Or you can really become involved, create teams, compete in leagues, 24hour races, create leagues. The list goes on.
Problem is though it just doesn't give off the same team spirit as preparing a race car together, and getting it to a track. Let alone winning.
I'm not sure if that made sense there, it's late, i'm tired.
Such a critical bug should be fixed as a matter of priority though.
Not that i'm dis-respecting the developers, they deffinitely deserve credit where it is due.
Just an addition, if you decide to give this league the go-ahead with a section. Then may I request it's an R4R Events section, so the enduro and The Stock Cup are placed as sub sections?
The event will be going ahead, that I can confirm. I just need to sort out the streaming and lfs tracker.
Hey Again, Seeing asthough entries are low, I'm proposing that this event is changed to a SHOOTOUT event.
The first 5 laps will be a straight race, then for each and every lap until the end, the last placed driver will be disqualified from the race. This will be done by spectating the last place driver. Once spectated they will not be able to join the race again.
For this race I would like to FILL UP the grid. So that means a full 32 racers on track.
This will mean that for blackwood gp rev, the race will last a total of about 45-50 minutes.
What does everyone think of this idea as opposed to the original 4hr enduro?
I'm afraid we can't. Being in demo you are totally anonymous and we cannot ban people as they only have a screen name, and not a username.
My suggestion is to purchase S2 to avoid this kind of problem.
how is this coming along? i'm looking to use this for an event i'd like to live stream and would like to try a newer version which fixed the problems FL!P mentioned above.
I take my hat off to what you've done already though
Hi Victor, could you put a forum section up for us?
"Bring a Cushion" FBM Enduro
Thanks
Oh and also, The Stock Cup (of which I ran last year) is coming back in Feburary, so you can put that into the inactive section if you so desire.
Sorry I didn't let you know about that sooner...
i find a lot of todays games up exposure and in trying to add so many effects they end up making it look... fake. I thought advancement in graphics would be about moving it towards realism. I want to see lfs look REAL, the correct exposure, the correct colours in the textures.
i'm not bothered about being able to see every blade of grass, get a "lens flare" or watch the crowd jiggling up and down. What i do want to be able to see is what's currently there looking in the same contrasts and tones as my eye would.
Edit: And in response to the low end pc's problem, just have an option to turn it off! Or make it about time people upgrade their pc's. You can have a pretty good pc at very reasonable prices these days.
