After many months of development it gives me great pleasure to announce and offer to you RaceSIM Servers.
Having witnessed the closures and troubles of other server providers, we understand that you need affordable, reliable hosting that will be there to help you run successful leagues and events, month after month.
To demonstrate our commitment to you we have teamed up with the iTCC, OWT and IGTC on long standing sponsorship agreements.
So confident are we in RaceSIM Servers that not only are we offering extremely low prices, but we are giving you 20% off any monthly, semi-annually, and annually service!
So please feel free to take a look at our website, and ask us any questions you may have via the pre-sales link, here.
Thank you for your time and I personally look forward to working with you all over the coming weeks, months and years.
Good moves, was fantastic to see so many drivers attending, showing the willingness and commitment to make something truly great that is rare to find in online communities.
I'd also like to note (being a member of the RC team tonight - "<Race Admin>") that I was,
A. impressed with the quality of racing in the first two races.
B. impressed by the patience and ability of the Race Control team to cope under pressure and,
C. Ashamed that race 3 was broadcasted. The commentary was biased and judgemental, the quality of driving was abysmal, with dangerous behaviour under the safety car, poor spacial awareness and a pathetic urge to make contact with anyone within a 200m radius. The only positive of the broadcast was the quality of the feed provided by Joe.
I strongly suggest every driver in this round re-reads the rules thoroughly, contemplate their own behaviour, not the actions of others, and return to the track for round three with a fresh attitude.
Remember, when any event is broadcasted you are representing Live for Speed, your teams, and yourselves to the sim racing community and the world. It's in your hands.
regards,
Kringle.
Server provider and temporary Race Admin for Round Two.
I strongly agree with you. With all this talk of LFS losing its appeal and beginning to age badly. Now would be the time to say "look, we have a great amount of talent here that's being wasted. Let's utilize it."
However, can I suggest one way to moderate the volume of content.
Everyone gets the tools to create their own content. But they have to submit it for consideration. And only the best quality mods make it onto the multiplayer lists. For the rest of the community to use.
I believe the Renault team runs from two seperate locations. Read it in a RaceCar technologies magazine. Engines in one factory (france) and the chassis in the UK.
